↓ Please scroll down for English ↓ 🗓️ Цей день в історії нашого КБ 15 травня 1987 року з космодрому Байконур було здійснено перший пуск надважкої ракети-носія «Енергія» (11К25) з космічним апаратом «Полюс» (Скіф-ДМ) масою близько 80 тонн - прототипом безпілотної бойової лазерної орбітальної станції. Пуск пройшов успішно, однак не обійшлося без «ложки дьогтю» - космічний апарат не вийшов на орбіту через неправильну роботу системи орієнтації і, не отримавши розгону, впав у Тихий океан. Незважаючи на це, за оцінкою, зазначеною у звіті, понад 80% запланованих експериментів вдалося виконати. На першому ступені «Енергії» використовувалася зв'язка з чотирьох блоків - модульних аналогів першого ступеня РН «Зеніт» (11К77) розробки КБ «Південне», які успішно відпрацювали під час двох пусків РН «Енергія» (усього 8 ракетних блоків). 👉 Відео пуску: http://bit.ly/2HhSpto *** #OTD in 1987 the first flight of the super-heavy Energia/11K25 launch vehicle lifted the Polyus/Skif-DM spacecraft (the prototype of unmanned military laser orbital platform) with mass of nearly 80 tons was carried out from the Baikonur cosmodrome. The launch vehicle performed flawlessly, however, the spacecraft had not entered an orbit due to a failure in the orientation system of the spacecraft itself, causing the payload to fall into Pacific Ocean. In spite of that fact and according to the evaluation indicated in report, over the 80% of scheduled experiments succeeded to be implemented. The Energia launch vehicle first stage included the cluster of four cores – modular analogues of Zenit/11K77 launch vehicle first stage of Yuzhnoye development, which were successfully developed during the two launches of Energia LV (8 cores in total).
