God..... I live law and politics at uni on a daily basis.... I don't want more of it on my break!!

im exaited to see what comes next. so what if they had some misunderstandings nothing changes my mind about either side them.. if something was done wrong they will make up for it. i dont see why people scream and shout on fb&twitter.. guess some people have nothing better to do.

The interview with notch was hilarious.. i loved it... im sure that everything thats goin on is a big troll session...and i think its epic... notch is a super troll who just ate like 500,000 people...

BTW lists would totally help u guys make more structured interview questions hahah

The ruth, as always, is likely somewhere in the middle. Yogscast were likely a bit douchy and prima-donna - they are big celebs in the world of Minecraft, and could rightly feel they are a big draw for Notch and his con. Not at least paying for airfare and hotels would be poor form on Notch's part, since he is featuring their appearance so big in the lead-up ads and promo. But Notch handled the whole thing very unprofessionally, and seems to have allowed his fingers to run away on him - think before tweeting. Neither is really wrong or right. They're just people who happen to make very popular Youtube videos, or a regular guy who happened to create a zietgeist game that surprised everyone (the designer included) in becoming a massive worldwide hit. They're just unused to dealing with crap like this in the public sphere.

notch -should- have given a little help to the yogscast, way before lewis and simon asked for it. me and probably a huge portion of minecraft players started playing because of the yogscast. notch is just a stuck up, lazy ass. minecraft had so much potential (see mods) and he didn't take full advantage of it at all. the very least he could do would be facilitate modding, like in the elder scrolls, but he couldn't be assed not even for that.

It's funny how the same people who praise Notch for his transparency in running his company are now lynching him for the same reason. Rabid fanboyism is rabid.

glad you guys got home safe. tho im sorry about stupid people who can only seem to hate. when they dont even know your side of the story. well one good thing out of this is you see who is truely a fan of yours and who are just posers.

bloody hell, if i wasn't getting paid i wouldn't have gone. Mojang is a multi million pound company, but the yogscast have to pay for 7 tickets from london to Las Vegas along withhotels and food and other expensises. so yes if wasn't getting paid i'd be more than a little pissed off.

the fact they did it for free is the more important thing, notch should be grateful, think of the thousands of pounds notch has got from yognaughts buying the game, getting minecraft on the front page of youtube every other day. Its disgusting.

Okay, what the hell is going on with this? If the Yogscast were insulting Mojan & Notch for no reason, or the company and Notch didn't say anything insulting to them, then they should be ashamed of themselves. But really I just think this is a big misunderstanding, because they all seemed to get on well in the interview?

I'm sure they're not trolling - Yogscast has lost so many subscribers over this- I heard they were losing roughly twenty subscriptions a minute last night.

Haha, the anticipation of waiting for their response is killing me! Seems like it is taking forever...

And Jacob, oh no, not 20 subscribers a minute?!? How will they ever cope, what with them only having 1.2 MILLION subscribers?! ;-) I don't think a few people unsubscribing is a big issue, and I doubt the Yogscast will miss them as fans very much if they are that quick to judge without even hearing the other side of the story. In fact, I just refreshed the subcriber count and its gone up 14 people in the time it took me to write this post. So it is really a non-issue. =)
