As we gear up to face increasingly severe weather conditions, Mayor De Blasio has mobilized city resources to best prepare and respond to worsening conditions. If you can, please stay in your homes, safe and warm. Should you have any heat and hot water issues please reach out to my district office or call 311 and we can help rectify them as soon as possible.

Some recently announced impacts on city services:
Garbage collection & recycling are cancelled Monday & Tuesday
Alternate side parking is suspended on Monday and Tuesday. Parking meters will remain in effect.
All Public Schools are cancelled on Tuesday
Regents exams to be proctored tomorrow have been rescheduled to Thursday
Department of Parks and Recreation: Parks are closed. The Department will be tracking limbs/trees down and, due to high wind gusts, advising the public to keep out of parks during the storm for their safety.
Department of Homeless Services HOPE Count: Originally scheduled for tonight, this event has been cancelled and will be rescheduled.
Please reserve 911 calls for actual emergencies (but don't hesitate to call them if you have one). For other questions on city services, please call 311
Some recently announced transportation related advisories:
Limited Subway service after 7pm
o Bus service will continue depending on road conditions
LIRR and Metro North will stop service at 11pm
All roads closed after 11pm to all non-emergency vehicles
