How do you set up a home training program? This is a question I’m often asked by new students. My recommendations are:

1. Find a place in your home in which to practice. A spot where you have room enough that it is safe to practice your techniques, forms, and self-defense techniques. Breaking a lamp or a special vase is not what your parents signed you up for! Many students practice in their basement, garage, or even their bedroom. On nice days you can practice outdoors as well.
