About Veterans' Foundation
The formal objects of the Veterans' Foundation are as follows:
To assist people who are serving or who have served in the British Armed Forces and their dependants by advancing any lawful charitable purpose at the discretion of the trustees and in particular, but not exclusively, to make grants to other charities who assist serving and former members of the armed forces and their dependants who are in need.
We envisage support going to improve the lives of veterans in need by:
Reducing homelessness
Increasing employment
Providing welfare and medical support
Increasing confidence and social integration
Reducing dependence on drugs and alcohol
Supporting other charitable activities that may be needed
Veterans’ Foundation Facebook channels have been created for our loyal supporters, the Armed Forces community and their families.
To help ensure our Facebook page is an inclusive, fun, safe and welcoming environment, please adhere to the simple house rules below.
Please do not post content that:
1. Is derogatory, offensive, unlawful and abusive to other users.
2. Reveals any personal, sensitive or confidential information.
3. Politically charged or appears to be a part of a concerted campaign or lobbying effort.
4. Is spam (posts containing the same message posted multiple times).
5. Contains allegations and defamatory or insulting comments about named individuals or organisations.
6. Advertises products or services for profit or gain, which are not associated or approved by us.
We reserve the right to remove any posts that do not adhere to our guidelines or those that we think are being potentially inappropriate or offensive.
We will block or ban users who fail to follow these rules.
