GlobeMed is a student-led non profit organization that believes in the motivation and determination of grassroots health organizers and leaders around the world. Our focus is not on creating a 'new tool', for we believe that solutions to pervasive issues of poverty already exist. We are going with organic simplicity, in the fact that our solution is utilizing the energy, passions and resources of students in the United States to partner with the real change makers - the people of the communities around the world we are trying to reach.
We are currently partnered with MASS Odisha. MASS, a nonprofit based in Odisha, India, works with their local community to incentivize and develop socioeconomically feasible, culturally viable, and ecologically sustainable solutions to agriculture and community building. Originally founded by a group of anthropology students from the local university, MASS has developed into an organization that strives to promote awareness, combat drought, protect biodiversity, and innovate new methods of sustainable agriculture.
