The UNESCO Multimedia Archives make available to the public audio-visual material, such as documentaries, docufictions, interviews, speeches and promotional material created or produced by UNESCO.

The Multimedia Archives service also provides storage for physical and electronic audio-visual records, assuring in the process their safeguarding and preservation, as well as facilitating the search, retrieval and consultation of these records through the Internet, or on-site in the Archives reading room.
