The Tattered Cover Book Store is a locally-owned, indie bookstore with eight expansive locations & four smaller satellite stores in the greater metro-Denver area. Established as a small storefront in 1971, it now has locations on Colfax Avenue, across from East High School; in Historic LoDo (lower downtown), at the corner of Wazee & 19th Ave. in the Aspen Grove Shopping Center, Park Meadows Mall, a Kids store at Stanley Marketplace, Westminster, and a brand-new store in Colorado Springs. There are also small Tattered Cover bookstores for commuters in Denver Union Station, and on each concourse at Denver International Airport.
