Über Spokane Summer Parkways
Summer Parkways is a free event that focuses on recreation, fitness, and community. 4 miles of roads are closed to car traffic and open for human-powered entertainment! Our event is for families, couples, outdoor enthusiasts – everybody! We’re creating the venue, but you’re creating the event by being a part of it.
Businesses who participate put together an activity, anything from yoga, hula hoops, dancing, bike decorating, hacky sack, anything really. Activities will be offered free along the 4-mike course to encourage a healthy lifestyle for everyone. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own games and hobbies along (e.g. picnics, music, chalk art, hopscotch, bubbles, juggling, jump rope, etc).
