【Mulan】
The star of Disney's upcoming film "Mulan", Crystal Liu Yifei, posted in support of the Hong Kong police in August 2019. She has refused to retract her stance ever since. It is shocking that this US citizen publicly supports violent oppression and police brutality that has been caught on camera numerous times; see our previous posts for examples. Liu Yifei is black-hearted, and definitely #NotMyMulan.

Hi there. I am very much for a democratic Hong Kong, against police brutality and I have supported corresponding peaceful protests in Germany.
I was disappointed of Liu Yifei's comment (also Jackie Chan's). But I suggest you refrain from insulting or defaming ("black-hearted"). Being democratic also means criticising words and actions instead of jumping to conclusions (in fact we don't know their reasons) about someone's personality and making negative attributions. Criticise away, we support you. I won't watch the movie, either. But please stay on the moral highground here.

Thank you for your support and your suggestion! However, we are certain that the numerous victims of Hong Kong police brutality would fully consider her as black-hearted (黑心), thus we are keeping the post as-is.

It doesn't matter. The movie will do great, Disney will make shit loads of money. Most people don't give a shit about Hong Kong. It's unfortunate.

I don't understand Disney is trying to cast a character that stands up against the gender inequality, but ironically they decided to choose an actor, who happens to be an American citizen but can't even stand up against the power from china (which everyone knows they are destroying the basic human rights for millions of people)...

Add in the massive amounts of money that China has made selling medical equipment and materials to fight the COVID-19 epidemic (which started in China itself, of course), boosting their economy whilst weakening almost every other one and it looks like the master plan is going rather well for them.

Chinese investment in Africa is so ... ironic? What would ordinary Chinese people think if they knew their government was giving all that money to those dirty Blacks. And wait 'til those African leaders find out how much they're despised by the Chinese salarymen and soldiers sent to staff the Chinese investment properties.
