Note: the Mayflower reached North America 13 years after the settlement of Jamestown, Virginia, and one year after the First Thanksgiving in Berkeley Plantation (the Harrison family estate) in Virginia.
Secession is not a bad option, people. In all seriousness, it’s probably the best option. We are too large, the Constitution has been dead for a long time, and there is far too much power held by just a few people. Maybe it’s time to have an adult conversation about divesting power and leaving each other alone.
