It's time to go explore deeper into the depths of Tonisborg dungeon.
Now we're asking you to help us figure out a mystery.
Before anyone had ever seen a published dungeon module, no one really knew how to make a dungeon. Every dungeon master had their own style.
While the modules inspired DM's to write detailed accounts of every encounter, what you usually see in the really old dungeons is different. Often it is just a monster description with treasure like a long list.
Most Dm's would do things to add little mnemonic hints for themselves about the type of encounter that would occur, but most of it was in their heads waiting for the players to bring the situation to life when they interacted with the situation.
We've taken this cropped detail and enhanced the brightness and contrast, because there is some faint writing right on the map. An X in a hallway and a line to some text tells us that Greg has put something special here.
We know what we think it says, but we could be wrong.
What do you think Greg has left sitting in the middle of this hallway?

Remember dnd is only a game system. A system of doing..
Draw a map set trigger points that point to lists. Then dm directs a dice roll and reveals from list the discovery. I actually would host multiple list and depending on the timing would reveal from different list. This way players could find differing relics and multiple players didn't get the same objects from same places. It prevents following the leader type scenarios..
who's still playing, where?

🎲GAME TIME🎲
I imagine everyone is just trying to get through the work day as you head for the coming weekend which for gamers means only one thing - GAME ON!
I feel like my game room needs a bit of redecorating. Strangely enough, as that thought passed through my mind I came across some images of an old railroad crossing.
I need this as the gateway to my game room.
STOP - DEATH - STOP
There is an ancient grognard proverb that goes like so: If you aren't dyin' - you aren't livin'
Yes, it's almost too easy to lure players into doing stupid PC death resulting things, but I do like to warn them first. 😅
To all you DMs out there, make sure to reep some PC souls and keep those pesky players in their place. ![]()
Please share our movie link to friends.
WE rely on YOU our FAN BASE to get the word out about Secrets of Blackmoor.
