A Storm is coming.
Final preparations today for Devil Storm...
The morning started with the Combined Arms Rehearsal (CAR) - the Brigade walk-through of the planned operation, during which Company/Battery/Troop commanders, along with sustainment leaders, brief the team on the base plan of executing the mission.
The day closes out with Sustained Airborne Training (SAT) for all Paratroopers who will be jumping into the fight.
The Storm is upon us...watch it unfold this week!

Of the 20 years that I was stationed at bragg with the 82nd I never jumped into a FTX or was assigned to a combat operation that went according to plan, the order of the day was to March to the sound of fire

This is AWESOME ! and if i could re-do my military job choices i would have chosen being a Paratrooper i had the chance way back in the early 80s to do the course but i took too long to say yes and all of the positions quickly filled and i missed out ! and yes this is more exciting than pulling up in a truck so my advice is if you are given the chance to become a Paratrooper just say yes !
