The New 5th Generation HDHomeRun CONNECT has launched in the USA and there have been many questions regarding launch in other regions globally, here is some detail:
There is a 2 tuner (replacing current CONNECT with a slimmer, sleek metal enclosure design, with same great function) and a new 4 tuner model offering more tuners with one antenna input to increase your base tuner count or add to your existing tuners.
These have launched in USA only at this time.
Other regional role outs will continue into mid to late 2018 (4 tuner HDHomeRun QUATRO is sold exclusively through Best Buy USA through Dec 31st)
Canada is in the additional certification process required and has the same signal type as USA (ATSC) so will be next and expected before the end of 2017
UK EU AU NZ devices use DVB-T or DVB-T2 (different hardware / guts) signals and those are in the production and certification processes now.
Roll out will begin in UK retail in January and continue to Q1 2018 for EU, AU and NZ markets. These require more on the certification side than other regions. Which takes significantly more time.
ISDB-T for LATAM are in development and will be later in 2018 or early 2019. These have completely different insides than ATSC or DVB models.
Thank you for your interest in HDHomeRun tuners and the huge positive response to our 5th Generation CONNECT tuners.
Over 10 years since Gen1 and we have some of them still active in customers' homes. Live TV streaming in homes since 2007.
Remember
HDHomeRun tuners are network attached meaning you don't need to necessary replace older HDHomeRun hardware. Instead increase your home's tuner count by adding more or mixing and matching multiple types of HDHomeRun devices.
Enjoy.

4k ATSC 3.0 is a future story and not related to this query
We offer true live native MPEG2 tv and Roku does not support live tv formats. Was a cost barrier before due to licencing but the patents have expired. We request regularly of them to support
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE offer hardware h264 encoding on future products!!!!! (I know the Extend does h264 "transcoding," but everything I've read indicates it's only for live streaming from the HDHR and won't work for making recordings on SageTV/Plex/
Can us non-cord cutting money spenders get a hint on when each of us throw a few hundred dollars at you? Please?
I have a new build that could really use a COUPLE of these desired units.
Best place to open a discussion on that is our technical forums.
Our KS project was for DVR which included DRM support as part of the overall project and is still a key to Silicondust and our tuners. We continue to work on this development
No one is more anxious to get this out than our own team. We appreciate your impatience as there are no true live alternatives. But those who can wait will rejoice once it's out
And we'll still be here for you.
