At the Atlanta Wholefoods on Ponce , I sat down to eat the food that I just purchased, and a Roach crawled out while I'm literally eating my fish. Although my phone literally just died, these two ladies sitting next to me took photos of the debacle. I showed it to the customer service associate and he was astonished as he showed it to another co-worker, gasping collectively. The manager, Rudy, tried to assure me that 'it must've came from where you were sitting' .. it felt like he was trying to deflect from the food really being infested , saying 'oh, well maybe it came off of someone's clothes' wth...so I explained to him that I immediately sat down, removed the plastic and started eating, never leaving my plate unattended. It's so disgusting. I spend way too much money at this store on a regular basis for them to have roaches in the hot and cold bar, meaning that there are probably so many more roaches in the food in that store because I've never met a lonely roach. They refunded me like $5 but I still don't know if I can trust this place ever again.Like I just spent like $15 on roaches,kale, a piece of juice and some nasty peanut butter cereal that I sike myself into eating. I literally spent like $30 some dollars just today alone including this morning, not considering the rest of the week, for you to be coming at me with roaches and that Kendall Jenner size gift card. What kills me is the receipt says 'Values Matter' and 'America's Healthiest Grocery Store'; I wanna barf in my mouth. Like people catch diseases and get sick like this. I've even seen flies in here on multiple occasionsat the hot bars during the summer. Filthy indeed. Man it's like I make such an effort to eat healthy and this kills my motivation, I have no soul. Like literally when the Whole Foods manager was looking at my food, he lifted the plastic lid and that thing started dancing . Should I contact the health Department,or nah? I'm literally gonna have nightmares about being chased by roaches for almost eating their beloved. A friend told me 'now you gotta poke at your salad before you eat it'; gonna be like hunger games when they run out.Es no bueno. No Whole Foods, this is not Making America Great Again.
