Did you really post this?...on the day after the Buffoon in Chief released his plan for the Great Wall of Fiscal Irresponsibility which includes actual concentration camps for immigrants and abolished the First Ammendment rights of an entire religion. So if you are pledging "never again", we should expect a press conference from you any minute denouncing Trump's actions and explaining what you will do to stop him?

Thank you, Mr. Ryan, for the remembrance. If you don't stop the madness of your colleagues there will be another remembrance day in the future for all of the South American, and Middle Eastern refugees refused safe harbor. Just like the Jews in the 30s, now it's the 'brown' people who are inferior. Trump/Bannon/Conway/Pence are supremacists ... believing that white Christians are superior. The administration meets the criteria of a hate group. Please, do something to stop America from turning into a fascist country.

From the Southern Poverty Law Center:

Though their views may be couched in code words, members of hate groups typically share these extremist views:
• They want to limit the rights of certain groups.
• They want to divide society along racial, ethnic or religious lines.
• They believe in conspiracies.
• They try to silence any opposition.
• They are antigovernment and fundamentalist.

You're kidding me, right? Just as the POTUS signs an executive order banning refugees from settling in our country you post THIS? You do know why Ann Frank couldn't get out, right? You do know why millions of Jews died in the Holocaust, right? Because other countries wouldn't let them in. Including ours. You are a hypocrite.

Speaker Ryan, I am alive today because as a child my grandmother and her family were permitted to immigrate from Germany. Her relatives unable to flee perished in the Holocaust. If you truly believe these words please speak out against the administration's stance against refugees fleeing war and oppression in the Middle East. Such a ban will not make us safer and goes against what we stand for as a nation. Thank you.

This is an ironic post. When I learned about this in history class, I thought how can people let that happen? I thought it must have been a bunch of awful people. But, now after the executive order today, I am seeing how this could happen. It happens little by little, inch by inch, the government starts discrediting the media and the scientists and eventually their followers only trust in them. The government utilizes fear and manipulation to get what they want. I am married to a German and understand their history and I am a very concerned American right now seeing the Muslims singled out. It feels like history is repeating itself but this time in a country that I cherish. I am so unsettled and beside myself. I believe in you, and like the way you think in general. I don't believe you are happy with this situation. Please stand up to this and protect the people if that is what you feel in your heart. We are counting on the GOP to bring sanity into this crazy situation we are in.

Wait, what? You care about the lives of others? You'll never see people persecuted for their religious beliefs, or ethnic background? So, this means you are going to fight Trump's immigration ban, registry, and all of the other racist, xenophobic orders he's signing?

Plus, what about the millions of innocent people who are about to lose their healthcare and suffer.

You are the worst kind of hypocrite there is.

Anyone who read s history knows the path Hitler took and now we're being pushed on it in just one week. Ban Muslims, Hate Jews, Hate Muslims, Hate Mexico, Hate Women, Hate Obama, Hate every predecessor who made civil/human rights progress. Most of us have read--and cried over--the diary written by a young Jewish girl who eventually died in a concentration camp. Many of us, however, probably did not know that the United States had not accepted her and her family as refugees.

Today, Holocaust Memorial Day, let us also remember that the United States has, once again, turned its back on refugees.

How long will we continue to weep hollow tears?

Never again will we sit by and let a group be segregated or punished, just by virtue of their race, RELIGION, or color. On this Holocaust Memorial Day, can you please stand up for the Jews, Christians, MUSLIMS, Buddhists and others too? Please. Do not let there by any kind of registry or crime list ...

How dare you make a comment about The Holocaust on the same day you support the fascist racist order of denying refugees entry to our country. Anne Frank would be alive today if the anti Semitic policies under the Roosevelt administration would have been different. Trump makes exceptions for Christian Syrians! In case you haven't made a mental note Speaker- 15 of the 19 terrorists during the 9/11 attack were from Saudi Arabia. I reject any policies that represent a Muslim ban but isn't it ironic that Saudi Arabia is not in the list. Oh wait-- trump has business ties to Saudia Arabia. Oh wait- oil. Turkey has had more attacks by Isis on its country than any other of the countries in the Muslim ban list and yet Turkey is not included in the Muslim ban. You sir are a disgrace to the American flag. Shame on you.

One of the reasons political discussion is so difficult in this country is because some people see absolutely no difference in a) repealing and replacing terrible healthcare legislation, b) fixing a broken immigration system and c) the deliberate and willful act of murdering, by the most horrible means possible, over 6 million men, women and children simply because of their faith. Your absurdity, pompous sanctimony and hyperbole are some of the reasons Trump was elected in the first place.

"America's greatness is built on the principles of liberty and preserved by the men and women who wear the uniform to defend it. As I have said on numerous occasions, a religious test for entering our country is not reflective of these fundamental values. I reject it. Many Muslim Americans have served valiantly in our military, and made the ultimate sacrifice. Captain Khan was one such brave example. His example--and that of Khizr and Ghazala Khan--should always be honored. Period."
