【聲明：譴責中國當局打壓盧思位及任全牛律師】
Statement: Condemning the Chinese Authorities’ Oppression of Lawyers Lu Siwei and Ren Quanniu

一直協助12港人的人權律師盧思位及任全牛，遭當局報復性打壓，擬吊銷其律師執照，並將會舉行聽證。其中四川省司法廳直指盧律在網上「發表不當言論」，河南省司法廳則以任律在另一宗案件的表現為借口，先後在12月31日及1月4日發出擬吊銷執業證書的通知。上述決定在12人港人案審結後即發出，明顯是針對兩位律師敢冒當局不諱、堅持捍衛12港人基本權利，施以懲罰，斷其生計。
12港人家屬再次感謝盧思位、任全牛及一眾中國人權律師，面對來自市、省、以至國家級的政治壓力，仍義無反顧接受家屬委託，接下12港人此一高度敏感的政治案件。在深圳市及鹽田各部門諸多不合理刁難下，仍鍥而不捨向當局爭取維護12港人權益，秉持專業及操守，曝光案件黑幕。
案件從曝光至今，家屬堅持委託盧思位、任全牛及一眾獨立於中國當局的律師代表，唯深圳市及鹽田當局從未承認家屬委託律師之辯護資格，務求令12港人案件的法律程序，牢牢掌控於中國當局的股掌之中。盧律、任律及其他人權律師在12港人案件中的各項要求、行動，均合乎家屬意願、亦合乎法律要求；比起政治凌駕一切的中國當局，一眾人權律師的所為，才真正符合法治的真義。
如今，當局欲借盧律及任律殺雞儆猴，恐嚇其他中國人權律師，勿再參與政治敏感案件，掃清中國當局以中國式司法整治異見者的任何障礙。
對於其他仗義協助12港人的中國律師，以及盧律師、任律師本人，會否因此案遭受當局進一步打壓，家屬深感憂慮。正如12港人案一樣，外界越關注，對受壓義人的人身安全保障亦越強。冀港人勿忘一眾中國人權律師在12人送中、家屬無助之時，仗義施援的無私付出，持續關注後續發展及其後的聽證，並予以聲援。
Lawyers Lu Siwei and Ren Quanniu, who have been helping the case of the 12 Hong Kong Youths, have both received notices of proposed revocation of their lawyer licenses on 4 January 2021 and 31 December 2020 respectively. The Sichuan Department of Justice accused lawyer Lu of “publishing inappropriate comments” online, while Henan Department of Justice used lawyer Ren’s action in another case as a pretext to punish him. The above decisions were made soon after the verdict of the 12 Hong Kong Youths was out, and were obviously revenge for their involvement in the 12 Hong kong Youths case. For their daring to go against the powers that be, and persistence in upholding the rights of the Twelve, the authorities have resorted to ending their professional career and cutting off their livelihoods.
The families of the Twelve are grateful for the help of Lu, Ren and other human rights lawyers in China. Faced with pressure from the municipal, provincial and national levels, these human right lawyers nonetheless accepted the families' instructions and took up this highly politically sensitive case. Even while they were faced with unreasonable obstruction by authorities in Shenzhen and Yantian at every turn, these lawyers are steadfast in defending the fundamental rights of the Twelve, upholding professionalism and integrity, and revealing the unfair and unlawful practices of the authorities along the way
Families of the Twelve have insisted on instructing independent lawyers including Lu and Ren to represent the Twelve. However, authorities in Shenzhen and Yantian have refused to recognize them as the Twelve’s lawyers, in order to maintain complete control on the legal proceedings of the case. The demands and action made by Lu, Ren and other human right lawyers represented the wishes of the families and were entirely lawful. Compared with the authorities, who put political agenda above law, the human right lawyers are the one who are truly upholding the values of rule of law.
The Chinese authorities are using the case of Lu and Ren as an example to threaten other human right lawyers, such that no one else would dare to participate in politically sensitive cases. Thus the last obstacle hindering the Chinese authorities from persecuting dissidents at will, using the law as an excuse, is removed.
Families of the Twelve are deeply concerned that Lu, Ren, and other human right lawyers involved in the case of the Twelve may face further oppression. Similar to how local and international attention has helped guarantee the safety of the Twelve, we believe that support is also crucial to protecting these human right lawyers. We urge Hongkongers not to forget that it is these lawyers who offer their selfless help to the families of the Twelve at the most hopeless hour, pay attention to the coming hearings, and show support to them.

【人權律師不是 condom！盧思位、任全牛釘牌在即 香港、國際齊聲援】

受家屬委託為 12港人辯護的盧思位、任全牛律師，即將面對省司法廳的的報復，極有可能受到行政處罰，「釘牌」吊銷律師執照。
盧、任兩位關注、代理人權案件多年，近日的 12港人案，終成中共藉詞清算他們的借口。兩人多年來一直為中國的人權打拼，以此作為終身志業，面對打壓仍堅守不退；一旦失去律師執照，兩人將終身無法再在中國大陸履行律師職務，無異於褫奪二人實踐畢生志業的資格。
兩位律師仗義為 12港人辯護，如今因而蒙難，港人絕無坐視之理。值聽證即將舉行之際，我們呼籲港人 send信炸爆兩省司法廳，表達港人聲援兩位律師的聲音。

Lu Siwei and Ren Quanniu, family-commissioned lawyers of 2 of the 12 Hongkongers, are now in danger of being disqualified by the provincial Departments of Justice, as a revenge by the state for their involvement in the case of the 12 and other human right cases, including that of civil journalist Zhang Zhan.
Lu and Ren have been working on human right cases in China for years, and the case of the Twelve has been the last straw on the camel’s back. Overcoming various difficulties over the years, both Lu and Ren deemed the legal profession as their lifelong pursuit. If they are disqualified, they would no longer be able to serve as a lawyer in mainland China, and their lifelong passion is denied.
Lu and Ren have provided invaluable help to the 12 Hongkongers and are now being punished for it. Hongkongers and the world cannot stay silent. We urge you to express your support for Lu and Ren to their respective provincial Department of Justices.

Lawyer Lu has been commissioned by the family of Quinn Moon to represent her in the case of the 12 Hongkongers. Throughout the process, Lu has acted according to the will of the Quinn family and provided appropriate legal advice. While the authorities have refused to reveal any detail of the case to the public, Lu has published legal analysis online, explaining the situation to the public of Hong Kong ignorant of legal proceedings in mainland China. Fulfilling his duty as a lawyer, Lu has only provided legal analysis on the case.
還望四川省司法廳臨崖勒馬，停止針對盧思位律師的處罰，還一直堅守律師本份、堅守法律專業的盧思位律師一個公道。失去盧思位律師，實為中國法律界之重大損失，令「陽光司法」再添一重揮之不去的陰影。

【家屬回應委託律師被吊銷執照】
黃偉然家人（委託任全牛律師）：
對於任律師被吊銷律師執照一事，我們感到非常震撼和惋惜。
這四個月來他不畏強權，堅持陪我們度過了人生最灰暗的四個月，我們也明白我們家這案件比較特殊和敏感，但是就算不停地被當局「請喝茶」，他也堅持不言退出，還安慰我們、鼓勵我們。
聰明不能代替道德，智商不能代替良知；他被吊銷律師執照不是他的過錯，而是國人的損失。
喬映瑜家人（委託盧思位律師）：
盧律師是我家聘請代表喬的律師，他跟我們商量如何處理妹妹案件時，恰如其分、意見中肯，沒有說國家的半點壞話。卻竟有今日的後果？
反之，喬在所謂「陽光司法」下聘請的「官派律師」，家屬至今未知其身份，聯絡回覆少於5句話。這就是一個「符合標準」的「正常律師」嗎？
