No Slot Clocks are working well and ready for distribution to beta testers! We did however find a few minor issues when building this version which we have fixed, so it looks like v1.1 will be the official release. The issues fixed don't effect the clock's operation, it just allows for it to be built easier.
As you can see from the pics our version of the No Slot Clock (DS1216E) offers a machine pin socket, smaller height (30%), a replaceable CR1025 battery and even an option to install your own 2 pin connection for an external 3V backup power source. This version of the No Slot Clock is a solution that will last you a lifetime unlike Dallas's version. Release price will be about $35.
We are looking for someone to help us with modifying the setup utility. There's a few things we think can be done better and if you're willing to help then we can direct our efforts on other projects.
