The Project Moves Dance Company began a journey in the fall of 2010 to "be the change generation" by creating an umbrella of acceptance and tolerance called "accept ME, for who I am". This umbrella shields, protects and speaks out for all those that are wounded by the bullying epidemic. Presented by teen dancers that have been on both sides of the issue, they share their own stories as well as those of victims of Bullycide. This mixed arts, multimedia event deals with stories of tragedy and triumph, from the joy of first friendships to the pain of isolation to the satisfaction of self-acceptance. You will laugh, cry and leave the theatre celebrating the uniqueness of every human being.
