“We had an excellent breakfast on Friday the 22nd and probably one of the best waitresses we have ever had. I can't remember her name but she was a pretty blonde lady who loves bacon. Lol. She suggested the candied bacon and we discussed how awesome bacon is. Very attentive, friendly and patient since we took a while to decide what we wanted. The coffee drink was Amazing. The food was amazing and the portions were huge. Love this place!!”

“As someone who isn't a huge fan of breakfast....I gotta say this place is amazing! I've had four different things off the menu and have loved every plate, even dishes that I wouldn't necessarily pick. The service is excellent and the staff is very knowledgeable. Also, the carry out tastes wonderful too (But be aware that they can't do carry out during weekend rushes!). The atmosphere is very nice. Great for meeting up with friends or family. Plus, parking isn't too hard to find on the city streets. It's reasonable price food too. Central enough in Spokane that you can get there from most neighborhoods. Huge fans, definitely will be continuing to come back. Our favorite dishes are: tamale waffle, the biscuits and gravy, the verde hash, and the chicken sandwich! Going to try everything on the menu.”

“I can’t say enough good things about this place.. we didn’t have to wait long to be seated! Our server greeted us within a minute of sitting down our food came out fast and was absolutely delicious. The portion size was a lot better than most breakfast joints! In my opinion best quality food for my money that I’ve had in years! Thank you for a great meal!”

“We went here for breakfast with the kids and LOVED it! The service was awesome and the staff was dressed very nice. The food was good. We had a bear pancake for the kids, French toast breakfast and biscuits and gravy (the biscuits and gravy was the best we've had). We recommend the French toast for sure.”

“The flavor of the chicken was good but very oily. The corn-on-the-cob was a little overdone but still tasted good. The kale was okay and coleslaw was good. The potatoes, having a pepper sauce, could have had a more stout pepper flavor. The cornbread was amazing. I thought it was going to be honey- jalapeño butter not honey butter AND jalapeños. The IPA was good and hoppy for an IPA. The 2nd was mild but good as well with a 'complex bouquet'. The third beer tasted like a commercial beer not a microbrew. The service felt like it lacked a lot. The guy was nice but the woman there obviously wanted to work the big grand table and not our smaller one. I wouldn't be opposed to giving it a second chance though.”

“I am a fly fishing, bird hunting and white water rafting guide in this canyon and it is nature at its finest! The natural world is on display here for all to see from the towering peaks that slam into the winding river to the wildlife that grace its banks and lurk its depths. Awinspiering.”

Gave history and insight as to how it must have been to work the mines and where different says happen., thanks to him, I was able to take a few incredible pictures to remember my trip! “It's has the best food in town. I remember when it opened and was so happy! Still am! BUT while their food is excellent it's basically TAPAS portions. I'm a 38 year old man of average build and appetite. Nectar, for whatever reason, has an aversion to filling up a plate (maybe hip...?)This mostly comes down to veggies and potatoes. I understand the veggies...maybe expensive? BUT the potato portions are silly. Be it French fries or mashed, there is NO WAY you will get more than 1/3-1/2 a potato. This ironically leaves a 9" plate of food half empty. Last 2x's I've eaten there I ended up at Taco Bell...not a good sign...last order was a salad starter followed by the $27 steak...PUT some freakin potatoes on the plate so a guy can get full. For gods sake we're in Idaho! $27 TAPAS plates are too much!”

“We loved the orange teriyaki salad that we got yesterday. And we like the taco salad it was very good so my dining experience even though it was not in the restaurant I thought your place looked nice and very elegant and I would recommend it to anybody I liked the outdoor pond for the fish too, it would be nice cozy place to sit outside”

“If there was an option I'd give no stars. Bad food, horrible service, high prices. The waitress was rude and never smiled. She just acted annoyed that we were even there. She wasn't able to answer any of our questions about the menu. When asked what size the garlic chicken linguine dish was she had no idea but said it was chicken over macaroni. The manicotti that was supposed to come with sausage, didn't. After we brought up the issue, she said she'd give us 10% off that one dish, but then came back with a receipt that was even higher priced because she had forgotten to add the cost of a drink. We asked to speak with management, but they weren't there so we got their number to call later. After this the waitress asked what was wrong. We told her our complaints and she said she doesn't know the menu because she "just works there". She did end up taking off the cost of the drink. We called management later and they said they would have refunded the entire manicotti dish if we weren't satisfied (this was never offered to us while we were there) but once we leave the restaurant they won't do anything. Instead of going on I'll just say that it was my in laws last dinner in town and we wish we would've taken them somewhere else. I've lived here six years and this was by far the worst dining experience I've ever had in the LC valley. We won't be back.”

“I specifically asked the server before ordering to not use or bring plastic for my meal. They brought a drink with a straw and with my meal a plastic condiment cup.”

“From walking trails to rose gardens this park is a gem in the heart of the South Hill. Meticulously maintained and enjoyed by all, this is for sure one of my favorite spots. Upper Manito has a splash pad, picnic area, and playground while lower Manito boasts shelters, chimney fire pits, a duck pond, Japanese Gardens, etc. Sled down the hills in the winter...there is room for everyone. ❤”

“Every year they have art fest year-and I never feel like there's enough parking but of course there can't really be. I wish the neighbors that live there Would-be a little more kind and keep their garbage cans pulled up. The park was beautiful as always in June.”

“pardon my language but it is complete bullshit that people who paid $15/$18 for a first night button and then waited in line to go skating got turned away at the door because capacity was reached when there were people in the other line that were paying cash to just ice skate and they were aloud in. my question to you is why continue to sell buttons that promote the free ice skating if capacity for the whole night has already been reached? i’ve been coming to firstnight the last 4 years straight and have never been so pissed off by the lack of professionalism by the staff. Way to piss off a lot of the people in the community who put money in your pockets.”

“We had a chance to have the pleasure of having breakfast at the view while visiting in Idaho, the food was absolutely the best I've ever had at a restaurant it was so like having breakfast at home staff was very nice and freindly, place was clean and gave you a nice warm feeling the cook was absolutely amazing the one thing to remember is that you will never leave there hungry just with a feeling of contentment. If ever in Idaho again would definitely stop in to visit again was an amazing experience. Please give it a try if in the neighborhood.”

“We have been to almost every breakfast place in the CdA area and the Blue Plate outdoes them all! It's like being home in your mom's kitchen right down to the fun salt and pepper shakers and the fresh jar of jam at every table. The staff treats you like family, the food is fantastic, and the prices are the best in town!”

“Awesome place! My husband and I brought our 3 kids yesterday and they all had a blast (3 year old twins and a year and a half year old). $4 per person and you can be there ALL day, as well as get a stamp, leave and then come back same day without paying.. such a deal. There was so many different interactive stations and rooms that even after trying to push the kids through the rooms (because they never wanted to leave any of the stations) it still took an hour and a half. At one point while taking the twins there the restroom they both started crying because they thought they were leaving. My daughter said, “but I don’t wanna leave! I wanna be here all day!” Haha. Already planning a return trip for next month and it’s an hour drive for us one way! So definitely worth it.”

Volunteers and staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and are willing to take you around, give a guided tour and answer questions. Beautiful facility with impeccable attention to details. Wonderful museum in the beautiful inland Northwest.”

“We LOVED this place. We rented one of the four rooms with a pool in them. The water park pools have generous hours: 6am-10pm, which is wonderful. There are so many places in town with such limited pool hours... this is the ONE place with out a million rules, where parents can also really enjoy themselves and relax. You really get your money's worth here. The pools and rooms were extra clean. The staff were all kind and very welcoming! It was a great place to have our son's 11th birthday party. We will be back!!! The in-room pool rooms have much potential for a romantic getaway. The complimentary breakfast was WONDERFUL, with a lot of variety. The balsamic vinegar pizza with goat cheese from the restaurant was delicious! I can't recommend this place enough for families who are desiring a getaway that appeals to all ages! THANKYOU AIRPORT RAMADA!”

“They would not allow me to cancel a room reservation 2 days in advance since I booked online with "advance purchase rate". Not even willing to work with me and allow me to pay the difference in rate. So much for being in the Hospitality business!!!”

“I am absolutely loving my experience at the Lodge. It has little touches that make it a warm and welcoming experience. I love the aesthetic and the view of the river. I would definitely recommend going for the room with the soaking tub. There is nothing quite like enjoying a glass of Washington wine from the Vine downstairs while relaxing and looking at the river view from your room. I also enjoyed the breakfast offerings. There was a good selection of hot and cold items. I would definitely stay here again.”

“I have been staying here for years when I have to come to Spokane. The customer service is great, free food and wine! the rooms have fridges, a good exercise room and close to everything including the river trail. I don't see a reason to spend more at the Doubletree, or one of the expensive Davenports...when Oxford is nearby and treats me so well.”
