“Amazing food and amazing service. Pretty busy but the line goes fast and food is promptly out after u get seated. My boys had pizza with he homemade sour dough crust. I had the Reuben. Trust me the flavor was an explosion in your mouth!! Bought wine in the store to have with my lunch. The staff was very knowledgeable with what would pair well with my meal. Even offered some tasting. Highly recommend this place.”

“HAD To put this here ..........it was very yummy and very nice great wow people ! but my hubby would say ......... I wanted to take a moment to thank St. Francis and our server, Susan, for a wonderful meal this evening. The wife ordered the Pig Dip sandwich and I ordered the French Onion Burger. Our server was very knowledgeable on the wines and helped us choose a great one for our unrefined palates. The food was excellent. I would describe as artisanal since the food was not made for mass market appeal but rather a culinary expression of the chef. For dessert we had the Butter Cake. Absolutely delicious and just excellent. I know longer crave overly sweet but rather I prefer interesting tastes that are interesting to savor. Finally, I cannot say enough positive about our server, Susan. She made the whole meal even better with her engaging conversation and her commitment to serving us. I would put St. Francis as an excellent date restaurant. The food is fun. The atmosphere is romantic. It was a great place to enjoy your dinner company while having delicious food. Our price for this meal was extraordinarily reasonable. Frankly the bottle of wine was more then are entire meal and it was a pretty cheap bottle of wine. You cannot go wrong if you enjoy a great atmosphere with interesting food.”

“This review is just to give feedback for the PV location deli counter. On 6/8, I went to get a breakfast bagel on my way to a seminar in the area. I made a point of going extra early so I would not be late. I arrived at Chompies at 7:45 AM. There were only a handful of cars in the parking lot, and the restaurant itself was virtually empty. Except for the deli. When I entered, the line was five deep, and there were two employees at the counter. The male employee was helping an elderly couple with a dessert selection. I have no clue what the female employee was doing other than holding down the floor, because she certainly wasn't communicating or assisting the other five people in line ahead of me. I waited for several minutes during which time absolutely nothing happened. I finally had to leave and ended up getting breakfast at McDonalds across the street so that I could make the seminar on time. Why is the customer service at this location so poor? This is not the first time this has happened, and the Tempe and Scottsdale locations don't have this problem.”

Fluffy like a cloud !!!”

“The best place and a variety of food, I love their blueberry pancakes with real blueberries cooked inside the batter the way it should, and they give you a jar sealed with real blueberries inside jar. Flannery is the best server & so is Aumon.”

“Wherever we went throughout the park or castle all the staff were very friendly and helpful! The guys running the go carts were a bit on the grouchy side but I’m sure because it was hot outside and they were tired. They just need to try to be a bit more patient. All in all we had a great time, especially on the zip line!!!!”

“What a damn rip off! A tofu sandwich on toasted white bread with a small bowl of soup with a ice tea is $25.00 + Tip..let that sink in..I gave them a second chance after feeling violated the first time I had lunch there so the second time around I ordered a grilled chicken salad and a small bowl of soup with a ice tea and I should have known better when the bill came it was $30.00 + $tip..For lunch? For $30.00 I could have went to a restaurant and had a prime rib dinner with sides and a Cocktail.. Sorry but you can go to P bread and get the same lunch for $15 without having to tip..what a rip off and it's nothing special..”

“Excellent food, excellent service, and loved the band! The view from our table was amazing. Well worth the money to buy the platter to share. There were 3 of us and we had to ask for takeaway boxes, there was so much. Highly recommend the prickly pear fries and rattlesanake bites appetizer. The batter they use is to die for. It was the first time for two of us to try rattlesnake and not sure we would try it, but so glad we did! The prickly pear fries are addictive and there wasn’t one sample that was done less than perfect. Well worth the splurge to eat here. I will come back again on my next AZ trip!”

“Lo-Lo's was a delicious experience for us. We flew into town and pulled up surrounding restaurants. This place got our vote and we enjoyed every bite. The pancake melts in your mouth and seems to have a touch of cinnamon in the flavor. The chicken was crispy on the outside while moist and flavorful on the inside. They even have Lo-Lo's hot sauce to make it a perfect hot/sweet experience. Great atmosphere and cool music playing... We need one in Atlanta!”

“This place has the rudest staff ever, and the GM ( Justin ) does not care about customers and that shows in his attitude and his staff. Andrew, the server is an over dramatic, very rude drama queen. The staff lies and the GM protects them. We will never return again.”

“Beautiful to see at sunset. It was not well marked and I stopped T the ranger station for directions. It was a bit of a drive to the top, but was well worth the trip. I took someone who has a winter home here and had not heard of the place. They were also impressed. And we're putting it on their its itinerary to take guests.”

“This was a fun hike. Lots more people than I was expecting. But the path is laid out. It is more of a cardio/endurance hike to get to the top. The trail varies and has a few options so you can choose to climb or high-step it. I'd recommend this to trail.”

“The Bikini Bean has the all around best customer service I have experienced from any coffee shop I have ever tried. I am a long time customer of the phoenix location and recently started going to the Tempe location (as I work by the Tempe location now). I still find myself going to phoenix location as there customer service is so amazing. I am treated as a person not just as a customer/tip. The ladies that work for this amazing company can hold a great conversation and are well educated. They have a way of making there customers feel like they're there for you and you alone. I prefer the phoenix location but bot location accomplish the same goal. I highly recommend there coffee over Starbucks' Burnt/ over sugared coffee. Bikini Bean provides a well balanced cup of java with a amazing smile and great customer service.”

“I'm giving 3 stars because we've been here before, and always left very happy. This time...not the case. Our server was extremely inattentive. We waited quite a while for our guacamole and finished it still waiting on food. Once the food came we got the standard "plates are very hot" so I cut into the food and assuming it was hot blew on it before eating. Cold. Chicken enchiladas cold are not so great. Cheese no longer gooey, obviously sat a while in a window. Took away to fix and while my friend and I waited for hot food my son completely finished his meal. Got ours back and all they did was stick under a broiler which heated the top but insides were still cold. We just ate it anyway. Thank goodness for the busser who brought refills on water and soda. Hope to not get her station next time.”

“Last night was my first time here and I loved it!! The location is great and there's plenty of parking. The wine was pretty darn good (for a house wine) and the bruschetta was phenomenal! I LOVED this place and I will for sure come back with ho hesitations. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because we had an hour wait which kinda sucked. However, we were offered to start drinking our bottle of wine while we waited and I can safely say that, that helped time go by. Overall, this place is totally worth going back and waiting for if you want some bruschetta and a bottle of wine for $20!”

“Yesterday I went to the Pompeii exhibit and was extremely disappointed in the organization and preparedness. The exhibit was not on time so they made us wait outside in line in the direct sun for half an hour. When I noticed that the swamp cooler was aimed at the people under the awning I asked an employee to aim it at the sweating customers in the sun. Then two different employees started yelling. I was in the middle of the two so it was very aggravating to try and figure out what was being said. Someone finally got a microphone but by that time we were heading in and missed whatever was being told to us. As we finally moved inside I tried to tell one of the employees that water should have been offered to us as we were made to wait outside in the sun an for extended period of time and I was hushed and told to keep moving. I was happy to finally be going back in the AC only to be jammed into a tiny corner with all of the other sweaty customers and made to wait as more piled in. Then to wait at every exhibit because there were so many people you couldn’t see. After we finally made it through we went to the other exhibits and a lot of items weren’t working or were broken. Definitely not worth $30. I have been to several of their exhibits in the past and I am not sure I will attend another after this experience.”

“Before they got rid of the water canons I would give them a 5. I love this venue. With the water canons they always cooled off the crowd at the summer shows. And when the kids start fires they are put out within seconds. After a little research I found that the City of Phoenix is the cause. A water limit has been put on venue. So the venue says City if the cause of them being removed. The venue needs these to put out the fires fast. Now they have a two man crew stationed in the back with fire extinguishers.. By the time they got to the fires at the Rob Zombie show someone got seriously hurt from the flames being thrown into the crowd. The venue thinks the recent ban on blankets will help. The kids do the same thing at every rock show. They run around and collect all the trash between bands. The water canons always dealt with this so fast. It takes this two man team way to much time. And a fire extinguisher can not put out a flaming grass packed water bottle flying through the air. A water canon dropping rain over a large area keeps people safe!”

“I recently treated my two daughters ages 23 and 25, and myself to our first ever Spa day! We snagged a deal on Groupon but on a teacher's budget, it was still quite expensive. I wanted it to be a special day and one we’d remember. The newly renovated Phoenician Spa came highly recommended. Everything we experienced was outstanding except for one thing which I will get to. But first the positive: The staff was very polite and friendly and were always around tidying up and restocking the snacks and beverages. The massages were fabulous and the relaxation room was out of this world. The pre-massage luxuries of the vitality pool, steam room, and sauna were the perfect ingredients for relaxation. The atmosphere at the spa was one of tranquility and peacefulness until we visited the rooftop pool. We were so looking forward to enjoying the sun and relaxing at the rooftop pool with beverages and lunch. Unfortunately upon arrival we encountered a party of individuals that were so loud and obnoxious that we had to move to the other end of the pool. This same group of individuals carried their loud and obnoxious ways into the locker room area. Several guests were openly disturbed that this was going on. Several housekeeping staff walked through and said nothing. We also saw professionally dressed staff walk through the locker room and do nothing to maintain the tranquility that is expected when one visits a spa of The Phoenicians caliber. We ended our Spa day with the aerial yoga class. What a wonderful experience with an equally wonderful instructor! My daughters and myself were just glad the loud and obnoxious group that had dampened our day were not in attendance. Overall I would highly recommend the spa but would hope and expect that staff would maintain the tranquility and relaxation of what a Spa day is all about.....relaxation.”

“In my opinion it is an okay place. Our room was nice and the pool was nice but for the price I expected a LOT more considering the daily "resort fee". Also the food and drinks at the pool were ridiculously priced and they will not allow snacks even for those of us with young kids. I had to leave the park several times to give snacks to my kids instead of paying the overpriced food rates at the pool. If the food/drinks were much cheaper or we are allowed to bring in snacks I would have gone back. But I don't see our family ever returning because it just isn't affordable for a family of 5.”

“I was a bit disappointed at the lack of front desk customer service. Tyra was the evening front desk at my check in. I had reservations months in advance and requested a room near the pool, possibly top floor and extra feather pillows. Tyra provided a room and when I asked her if she provided a room w my request she didn’t even check my reservation before she gave me a room. I had to let her know bc she didn’t even look. She said I got a room on the top floor and it’s not too far from the pool.. well it was not near the pool but a building over. She didn’t even bother to check until I asked her to look to see if she has a room near the pool regardless of the floor. She signed and was a bit sarcastic to say there was none. I asked if the room I’m provided has extra feather pillows as I requested and she signed and said she’ll have it brought up. A bit disappointed in the service when I’m an owner and have been for over 10 yrs. come to find out my room was not even near the pool but over looking the front area. Maybe she was having a bad day and I was her final customer. When I took a shower I found strand of hair that was not mine in the tub. Then check out time was not even reasonable to extend and Scott only provided another hour when requested longer due to a late night of graduation celebrations . I let Scott know of all the issues and he said he would pass it on to management. Very disappointed at the lack of service, customer value and all around hospitality. The grounds area was nice but needed to be tidied up daily. It seems they don’t clean up patio areas on the grounds after kids mess them up. No follow up or email as of yet. Not sure if I’ll come back..”

“The Hotel grounds and our room ( luckily) I would rate higher at 4 stars. The staff was attentive and very friendly. Our room had a shared patio with the room next door, not great when it’s midnight and they are outside smoking and talking loud. The building has the original windows from the 1920’s so their cigarette smoke was drifting into our room even with the windows closed. The air conditioning in our room worked great but the halls were hot and stuffy. The main pool area is way over crowded and in need of a good remodel, not impressive or relaxing for a Waldorf Astoria Resort. We finally found a smaller, quieter and not so tired looking pool next to our room and settled there. We live in Phoenix and have stayed at many other resorts in the valley, the pool area is one of the most important parts of a resort in Phoenix! All in all we were not very impressed.”

“Loved the awesome pool and lazy river. The grounds are gorgeous and the room was average. Found some old popcorn under a chair in our room when the staff was in bringing us a rollaway bed (we were not eating popcorn). Also didn’t like that the lazy river and slide close at 7. It’s literally daylight at that time so I’d didn’t quite understand. Also the family poor closes at 8. Honestly one of the main reasons we went was to enjoy the pool. I’ve stayed at other resorts in the past and they are open much later. I was really anticipating more!”
