Mize First Responders and Smith County Deputies respond to a tragic accident.
At approximately 2:20 PM today, the Smith County Sheriff’s Office received a distressing 911 call from the Mize area reporting a tragic incident involving a 6-year-old child struck by a vehicle in her driveway. Despite the immediate response from first responders and deputies, regrettably, the child had already succumbed to her injuries upon their arrival.
Out of respect for the family's privacy during this difficult time, no further details will be disclosed as the Smith County Sheriff’s Office conducts a thorough investigation into this accident.
