Just read that Ryan Bader said he's the number one contender. Well, imo, he isn't by any means. How can a true athlete feel that he/she is the next best in line for a title shot when they haven't fought anybody in the top 3 of rankings?

I just want to point out Rumble fought 3 times before getting a shot. little nog, Phil Davis and A unprepared Gustafsson. Bader has also beaten those guys expect Gus but I think beating Rashad more than makes up for it. Bader has the longest active win streak in the LHW division, he's due for a shot. Rumble is being a greedy asshole because he wants another crack at DC, well go fight Glover Teixeria next and then get your shot.

Bader is really the only person left who hasn't fought Cormier but with jones coming back it makes sense to fight him. If jones comes back in time to fight Cormier than you should fight bader although I'd love to see Rumble vs Tex. That'd be a purtty scrap for the books

He knows he's going to sleep if he fights you. I agree he doesn't deserve a title shot without getting through you. He knows fighting you will ruin all of his momentum and he's not willing to risk it. He's not a real fighter that will fight anyone anytime anywhere like you. Rumble, man you're a one man wrecking machine. However, you lost your last fight. Bader is on a five fight win streak. His next fight would most likely be a #1 contender fight, and other than DC, st the top is Gus and you and you both haven't won a fight recently. You need to win a fight before getting another chance to be the #1 contender.

Even though I would absolutely love to see you fight Bader. Let's be realistic about it. We all know rankings don't mean squat anymore...lol with that being said I don't see a bigger draw fight for Cormier's next title defense than Bader. So unless Jones returns soon as hell I doubt they will even consider y'all two to fight..anyways can't wait for another Rumble highlight reel fight...keep up the great work boss.

Rumble has proven to be at a high level since his departure from the UFC. DC badly exposed his wresting and cardio short comings. That contest made Rumble a better and more complete fighter moving forward. He will always be in the top 5 as long as he's breathing. I say fight RB, remove all doubt as to who is the #1 contender after DC and Bones get it on.
