ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံရွိ မိဘမဲ့ကေလးမ်ား၏ ၇၃% တြင္ မိဘမ်ား အမွန္တကယ္ရွိေနေၾကာင္း သင္ သိပါသလား။ အလွဴဒါနႏွင့္ ေကာင္းမႈျပဳခ်င္ေသာ ခရီးသည္မ်ားအၾကား တြင္ မိဘမဲ့ကေလးမ်ားေဂဟာသို႔ သြားေရာက္လည္ပတ္ျခင္းသည္ ပိုမိုေခတ္စားလာေနပါသည္။ သို႔ရာတြင္ တစ္ခါတစ္ရံ၌ ေကာင္းမႈျပဳျခင္းသည္ သင့္ေတာ္သည့္ အမႈကိစၥအား ျပဳမူျခင္းမဟုတ္ပါ။ မိဘမဲ့ကေလးမ်ားေဂဟာသို႔ ခရီးသြားျခင္း ၏ ေနာက္ဆက္တြဲဆိုးက်ိဳးမ်ားအား တင္ျပႏိုင္ရန္ ႏွင့္ ဤကဲ့သို႔ အျဖစ္မ်ား ထပ္မံမျဖစ္ပြားရန္ သတိထားေရွာင္ၾကဥ္ရန္မ်ားကို ေဖၚျပထားသည့္ စာအုပ္ငယ္တစ္အုပ္ကို ဟိုတယ္ႏွင့္ ခရီးသြားလာေရးဝန္ႀကီးဌာန၊ ျမန္မာ့တာဝန္သိခရီးသြားလုပ္ငန္းအဖြဲ႔တို႔ႏွင့္ ပူးေပါင္း၍ ကၽြႏ္ုပ္တို႔ေဖာင္ေဒးရွင္းက ထုတ္ေဝထားပါသည္။

မိဘမဲ့ကေလးမ်ားေဂဟာသို႔ ခရီးသြားျခင္း သည္ ခရီးသည္မ်ားအား ဆြဲေဆာင္ဖြယ္ရာ ေနရာမ်ားအျဖစ္ ကေလးမ်ားအား ျပဳစုေစာင့္ေရွာက္ေနရာမ်ားသို႔ သြားေရာက္လည္ပတ္ျခင္းအား အားေပးျမွင့္တင္သည့္ ခရီးသြားလုပ္ငန္းတစ္မ်ိဳးျဖစ္သည္။ အထူးျဖင့္ ဆင္းရဲႏြမ္းပါးေသာေဒသမ်ားတြင္ ဤခရီးစဥ္မ်ားသည္ အလြန္ ထင္ရွားပါသည္။ ထိုအေျခအေနမ်ားတြင္ မႏွစ္ၿမိဳ႕ဖြယ္ရာ ေဆာင္ရြက္ခ်က္မ်ား၊ ကေလးမ်ားကို ယင္းတို႔၏ မိသားစုမ်ားထံမွ မလိုမပ္ဘဲ ဖြဲထုတ္ထားျခင္း ႏွင့္ ကေလးမ်ားအား လူေမွာင္ခိုကုန္ကူးျခင္းတို႔ ဆီသို႔ ဦးတည္ေနပါသည္။ ႏိုင္ငံအမ်ားစုကဲ့သို႔ပင္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံတြင္လည္္း ကေလးမ်ား၏ ဘဝလံုျခံဳေရးကို အာမခံထားသည့္ ၊ မိဘမဲ့ကေလးမ်ားအား ကာကြယ္ေပးႏိုင္မည့္မူဝါဒမရွိေသးပါ။
ေလာေလာဆယ္အေျခအေနတြင္ အစိုးရအေနျဖင့္ ကေလးသူငယ္ေစာင့္ေရွာက္ေရးေဂဟာမ်ား (မွတ္ပံုတင္ထားသည္ျဖစ္ေစ၊ မတငထားသည္ျဖစ္ေစ) သို႔ သြားေရာက္လည္ပတ္ျခင္းအား ထိန္းခ်ဳပ္ရန္ မျဖစ္ႏိုင္ေသးပါ။ ခရီးစဥ္ စီစဥ္သူမ်ားသည္ မိဘမဲ့ကေလးမ်ားေဂဟာသို႔ သြားေရာက္လည္ပတ္ျခင္း ခရီးစဥ္မ်ားအေပၚ မ်ားစြာ ၾသဇာသက္ေရာက္ေနပါသည္။ ဤစာအုပ္ငယ္သည္ စိတ္ပါဝင္စားသူမ်ားအားလံုး ႏွင့္ ခရီးသည္မ်ားအတြက္ ေျဖရွင္းႏိုင္ဖြယ္ရာ နည္းလမ္းမ်ားကို တင္ျပထားပါသည္။
မိဘမဲ့ကေလးမ်ားေဂဟာမ်ားရွိ ကေလးငယ္မ်ား၏ အေျခအေနမွန္ကို ေလ့လာ၍ ခရီးသြားလုပ္ငန္းသည္ ၎တို႔အတြက္ ေကာင္းက်ိဳးထက္ ဆိုးက်ိဳးကို ပိုမိုျဖစ္ေစသည့္အေၾကာင္းကို ေလ့လာႏိုင္ပါသည္။ လူအမ်ား ပိုမိုသတိျပဳမိေစရန္ ဝိုင္းဝန္းကူညီ၍ သင္၏ ခရီးစဥ္အတြင္းမွ မိဘမဲ့ကေလးမ်ားေဂဟာသို႔ သြားေရာက္မည့္အစီအစဥ္ကို ပယ္ဖ်က္ပါ၊ လူမႈအသိုင္းအဝိုင္းကို ပံ့ပိုးေပးၿပီး ေဒသတြင္းကြန္ယက္မ်ားမွတစ္ဆင့္ လူမႈ စီးပြားကို အားေပးျမွင့္တင္ပါ ရန္…။

Did you know that 73% of children in Myanmar’s orphanages do actually have families? Orphanage Tourism is a growing travel trend amongst tourists who want to do good. But sometimes the good thing to do is not the right thing to do. In cooperation with MRTI - Myanmar Responsible Tourism Institute and the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism we published a brochure that informs about the numerous negative consequences of Orphanage Tourism and offers practical tips to avoid the further spread of this harmful trend.

Background
Orphanage Tourism is a form of tourism that promotes and encourages visits to child care facilities as attractions for tours and tourists. It is especially famous in destinations with high levels of poverty, where it leads to unscrupulous practices, the unnecessary separation of children from their families and trafficking of children. As in many countries there are no Child Protection Policies in Myanmar’s orphanages that guarantee the children’s well-being.
As currently it is impossible for the government to control visits to both registered and unregistered child care facilities, tour operators may have the largest impact on the development of Orphanage Tourism. The brochure is addressed to anyone interested, also to tourists and travelers.
Learn about the real situation of children in orphanages and the many reasons why in the context of tourism they create more harm than good. Help raise awareness, remove orphanage tours from your itinerary and support communities and social enterprises by giving through local networks.
