The FBI that spied on Martin Luther King Jr. and today classifies Black civil rights activists as "extremists" is now partnering with Amazon to amass unprecedented surveillance powers.

History has taught us that such powers will inevitably be used to target communities of color, religious minorities, dissidents and immigrants.
