General Joseph Warren Chapter DAR has published a booklet documenting all the monuments they have established in Warren, Pa. over the years beginning in 1910. The booklet is in memory of Chaplain Daniel Wolboldt, who appreciated the proud history of sacrifice and service of those who made possible the liberty we enjoy today. One such monument is the life size statue of General Joseph Warren, which is only one of three in the country ,dedicated to him. He is in full military dress. Richard Bock, a noted sculptor of the day designed the statue. The Town of Warren was named after him and the statue stands in General Joseph Warren Park in down town Warren. The other monuments are placed in areas throughout the town.
