Actually i want tosay say thank you loveroms becos of ur kindness to have ahh emolator games im very happy to to play it thanks, more power guys i hope that someday loveroms will be back again cause i miss all emulators 😭😭😭😭

Sad to hear this news but why the F*CKING HELL would Nintendo do this i mean its in there rights but because of ROM Sites old Pokemon games like Soul Silver Black&White Mystery Dungeon etc, are still playable because of them and other Nintendo games hope Nintendo will reconsider doing this stupid move and hope theres still some sites that i can download Roms now i cant play Pokemon Mystery Dungeon thanks alot!!!

WTF..and Nintendo said there is no virtual console planed for the switch.

Apparently, for Nintendo, it's about moving forward, not looking back, which is why emulating even the hard-to-find games is a no-go.

Virtual Console wouldn't have been possible without preserving ROMs on the internet, so Nintendo should be thankful for the ROM sites hosting ROMs, because preserving video games is important for historical purposes and for availability. Even though it is within a copyright holder's legal right to take court action, copyright holders should never really bully or request removal of games that have been available for more than 3 years, otherwise some games may end up being lost in history and never seen again. Copyright holders really need to realise that once something is on the internet, it can never be removed, and also, they need to realise that taking action will only cause more harm to themselves than help them xD So again, Nintendo really should be thankful for ROM sites hosting ROMs, if it wasn't for ROM sites such as LoveROMs, Nintendo's online services, Virtual Console, older game data and other things that they have right now would cease to exist, in fact Nintendo probably wouldn't have continued to make consoles or even worse, may not have been able to create any more games. So ROM sites really have saved the video game industry, whenever Nintendo likes it or not, they have to wake up to reality and realise that ROM sites are only here to help preserve games and keep the availability to everyone. If Nintendo keeps taking court action or even threatening with cease and desist orders or even DMCA takedown requests, they're practically shooting themselves in the foot xD

Emmuparadise have also stopped downloading all Roms,not just nintendo roms. lucky I have quite a few snes roms already in my computer

Why not just remove the Nintendo ROMs but keep everything else?

yo soy u fanatico de los juegos retros pero no me gusto que sacaran los juegos de Nintendo y quele pasa ala pagina al entrar te sale el logo y un mensaje y pueden poner mas consolas emuladores y juegos que hay unos curiosos y para cuando el emulador de ps3 + los roms

Nintendo are freaking scumbags! How on earth am I supposed to be able to play Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (I own the Wii Version But Hate the Control Scheme) on Dolphin 5.0 with a Gamecube Controller now?
