I WAS UNABLE TO TAG THIS POST AT THE TIME FOR REASONS UNKNOWN, BUT GIVEN HARVEY PROCTOR'S RECENT RE-EMERGENCE IN THE PRESS, IT REMAINS HIGHLY RELEVANT, IF A TOUCH DISTURBING:

So, as predicted, there has been Momentum building on a concerted press campaign against the latest leadership of The Labour Party, which does raise some very worrying issues:

Worth noting that Nicholas Soames, who attempted to prise an apology out of Tom Watson [1] regarding Leon Brittan is Chairman of Aegis Defence Services, one of the defence contractors mentioned in the linked post, who acquired significant contracts as a result of the Iraq war. [2]

Like Jimmy Savile, Soames has also been a long time friend of Prince Charles [3]... In fact as his equerry in the early 1970s, Soames is doubtless in a position to reveal further information regarding the relationship between Prince Charles, Jimmy Savile and Lord Mountbatten~ perhaps he may recognize Justice Goddard from those days?

https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=10155605740020032&id=697345031

Nicholas Soames may also be in a position to expand on what led Virginia Bottomley to halt funding for NAYPIC [4] [5] [6]

An interesting passage from his Wikipedia article [3]: 'When Diana first accused the Prince of Wales of adultery with Camilla Parker Bowles, Soames told the BBC that the accusation, and Diana's fear of being slandered by her husband's courtiers, stemmed merely from Diana's mental illness, and "the advanced stages of paranoia"

Soames is also alleged to have threatened Princess Diana shortly before her death, relating to her work attempting to ban landmines. [7]

Jeremy Corbyn has previously called for Pentagon contracts with Aegis Defence to be suspended as a result of footage showing Aegis Defence Contractors indiscriminately firing on civilians [2]

Furthermore, many of the very same people who would prefer there was no mention of the matters raised surrounding the classified 28 pages of the 9/11 Joint Congressional Inquiry and Barack Obama's ties to the Saudi elite allegedly involved in funding and aiding the rise of Al-Qaeda have reason to fear and loathe both Jeremy Corbyn and Tom Watson:

But for the time being, back to more recent events...

Tom Watson has been coming under a lot of flack recently, for his role in attempting to expose the links between organized paedophile networks, such as the Paedophile Information Exchange and those in the corridors of power.

By contrast, there has been minimal coverage of Charles Napier and Richard Alston, two key players in the Paedophile Information Exchange Charged as a result of the intelligence Tom 1st mentioned in PMQs in 2012 [8][9]

The Leon Brittan case has led to a special meeting of the Home Affairs Select Committee to be held tomorrow (21/10/15) regarding investigations into Lord Brittan, home secretary at the time many of the allegations were 1st raised (and many police investigations were shut down). [10]

This recent pressure surrounding the Leon Brittan case began as a result of the BBC Panorama programme focussing on police investigations into VIP child abuse. [11]

Of course, several areas of the BBC still have much explaining to do, from their initial failure to expose Jimmy Savile, Rolf Harris, Stuart Hall (all of whom mingled with Royalty, earning Honours) to their appointment of Max Clifford as a BBC Children in Need Ambassador [12]...

How much of this will be exposed in the Review by Dame Janet Smith remains to be seen, as it remains on hold [13]

Why were several of the respected journalists who investigated claims surrounding Savile laid off by the BBC? [14]

Back to Panorama; though some of the points raised by the programme do bear further investigation, there appeared to be a clear bias, as any misdemeanours in the past of abuse survivors or whistleblowers were exposed for all to see, yet the past conduct of the alleged abusers failed to be questioned.

A clear case of this was Harvey Proctor... known to have lied on multiple occasions in the past, before being charged for spanking under-age boys [15], his statements went unchallenged.

In addition, despite his claims to being a loner, he was an active member of the MONDAY CLUB, along with securing several prominent backers when he went on to open a shirt shop.

Furthermore, he is known to have been involved in a relationship with a Pimp, Terry Allen, who would supply boys for Harvey's tastes. Allen is credited with saying that Harvey Proctor 'liked rough trade, the rougher the better. There are also allegations that Terry Allen had another alias, Terry Dwyer [16] [17], allegedly one of the key players involved in setting up Elm Guest House as a brothel,[18] with wider links to an international trafficking network [6]

Why didn't the Panorama programme highlight Proctor's past, or investigate these links?

Much of the backlash of has focussed on Leon Brittan, who among other allegations, faced a claim of raping a 19 year old girl in 1967. Under the circumstance, the police came to the conclusion that there was not a strong enough case to prosecute this one particular allegation.

All of the recent furore has focussed on this one claim, failing to note that multiple more serious allegations of abuse of children far younger are being investigated. [19]

On top of that, we have a number of accounts (being investigated by the Independent Police Complaints Commission) of police investigations into child abuse being shut down from above... who would have the sway to shut down such investigations, as in the case of Cyril Smith?(Revealed by BBC Newsnight [20]

Leon Brittan and Cyril Smith are alleged to have been close associates, an account by Don Hale suggesting when he raised the issue of a dossier compiled by Barbara Castle with Leon Brittan, before being confronted by Cyril Smith and raided by Special Branch (who report to the Home Office, as do the police and MI5) [21]

“A surveillance operation that allegedly unmasked Leon Brittan’s links to child sex abuse was shut down by Metropolitan Police chiefs.
According to an ex-officer, the former Home Secretary was photographed during a 1986 investigation into rent-boy orgies in buildings in North London.
But the day before swoops on alleged suspects were due to be carried out, officers on the investigation, called Operation Orchid, were told it had been disbanded.” [22]

On top of this, both Brittan and Smith are said to have been associates of Keith Harding, a leading member of the Paedophile Information Exchange, who was also known to Jimmy Savile. [23] [24]

Keith Harding had a shop in Islington, an area which has been linked to extensive abuse within council run homes, with children trafficked to homes on Jersey, such as Haut De La Garenne, where Edward Heath and once again Jimmy Savile are said to have procured and abused children, some of whom went missing, never to be seen again. [25]

Islington raises a number of issues surrounding tomorrow's Home Affairs Select Committee questioning of Tom Watson, Metropolitan Police Service's DCI Paul Settle, Crown Prosecution Service's DPP Alison Saunders and others.

Not least is Keith Vaz's past as solicitor on both Richmond and Islington Councils, around the time children were being procured from council run care homes to be abused. Whether this affects his perspective on matters when questioning remains to be seen. [26]

Tom Watson himself may face significant pressure from within Labour Party HQ, as several prominent members of the Labour Party hierarchy were also in positions which deserve further scrutiny, from Margaret Hodge and Jack Straw see: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=10155674357340032&id=697345031&pnref=story) to Jeremy Corbyn himself, who has been Islington's MP since 1983.

Surely such influences will affect disclosure of some of the more sensitive aspects of the case, unless of course those with information do the right thing (far easier nowadays, as mass communication allows us to share information which before may have been easily buried) as John Mann MP has done, with his knowledge of abuse in Lambeth Homes (once again part of a network, tied to North Wales and Dolphin Square) which once again is alleged to involve prominent figures. [27] [28]

I'd encourage Jeremy Corbyn to share any intelligence he has, much as I'd encourage David Cameron to disclose what he knows from his associates in the Conservatives Monday Club such as Derek Laud and any links such matters may have to his time in South Africa.

To close for now, will the Home Affairs Select Committee be probing the reasons the Home Office supervised the redrafting of Fiona Woolf's letters regarding her relationship with Leon Brittan[29], especially as official files relating to child abuse mentioning Leon Brittan were found shortly after he died?
