Everyone can stop being so happy the store they are opening is in Korea and then they will open in Europe, Australia, china, Hong Kong, South America and Canada they have no plans of opening any stores in the United States because they don't think the US customers will support them.

I’m happy they are going to reopen but I have a card with them and they canceled it when they said they were closing stores...so it would be nice if they reopened peoples accounts as the stores reopen

I wonder if this was a publicity stunt by C21. Cause how funny it is they claim they was losing money. But they want to give it another go. When the economy is weak. I believe they just wanted to get rid of the fat. Also by doing this they can hire cheaper help and pay them less. Then they was paying many employees that was with them for a long period of time.

BUT......They're opening in BUSAN, SOUTH KOREA....that will not help us in NYC and USA!!!

I hope you rehire all those employees you let go. I loved this store but both my parents lost their jobs last year.

I remember the when they opened the first store on 86th Street in Brooklyn - shopped there often - watched it expand - worked there in ladies for a little while in the 70s - the clothes they brought in were exceptional - spent more on purchases than I earned working there - happy they're coming back!

They are opening in South Korea! BUT, they hope to reopen one day back in New York, hopefully in the Financial District where they belong! 😍

😭 we all could have scripted this from day 1:
- spring 2020... cannot sustain fixed costs of running store with no business
- C21 mgmt then wants insurance payment and eliminate labor cost. “Shut down” store
- gain sympathy from public
- Spring 2021... vaccinated population imminent... “reopen” stores. Gains buzz from public

I do admire C21 management’s marketing and business savvy
