Paying our respects, RIP JIMMY. ❤️

Jimmy fed me breakfast every morning for almost 3 years. After Robert Seay came to work for me, he would shout at me - no matter we met - "I saw your son! I saw your son!" And we would have a laugh… Mehr about something or he would tell me something else "is bullshit." Driving by Rhea's I tonight there were tons of flowers leaning up against the place. Thanks Matt Judy for being such a help to his family. Rest in Peace Jimmy. Thanks for all the breakfasts and burgers and laughs. This whole darn town won't be the same without you.

I’m just in shock….Jimmy, owner of Rheas Burgers recently died. He was a true original and embodied the American Dream by coming to this country and building a multi-store business. He treated everyone the same and was always quick with a comeback. This Roswell Icon will be missed. RIP Jimmy!

Words cannot express the emptiness I feel while looking at the grill tonight as I went by Rhea's to turn off the lights and lock up for Jimmy one last time. The grill where he spent the last 38 years making… Mehr memories for customers such as myself and my family. He placed his tools of the trade exactly as you see them ready to flip another burger to add to the 100's of thousands he has served over the years.

Jimmy also known as my second father to many who have come in for a "Rhea's Special" needs your… Mehr prayers as he is in the hospital fighting for his life in a non-covid situation. PLEASE say some prayers tonight for Jimmy, his wife, daughter and son as we pray for healing in these critical moments. Jimmy has served the Roswell community for over 38 years and has always been a staple of post Rec game lunches, great biscuits and gravy and the always present banter. Praying for you Jimmy!
