Rest in peace, Brgrbelly Restaurant co-founder Steve O’Brien
It is with great sadness I must announce that our beloved BRGRBELLY Co-founder Steve O’Brien passed away peacefully in Greenville, SC, following a brief illness.
Born and raised in the Portage Park/Jefferson… Більше Park neighborhood, Steve attended Prussing, St. Constance, and Gordon Tech.
Father to Molly, Myles, and Connor, husband to Nicole, son, brother, friend, mentor, and fellow-well-met. He leaves many happy memories in his passing.
Steve has long regarded BRGRBELLY’s success and longevity as one of his proudest professional achievements (among many.) His recipes, personality, and business savvy are imprinted on everything we do.
Though he had largely stepped away from the restaurant’s day-to-day operations in recent years, his insight, influence, and strength are keenly felt. His absence creates a deep chasm for us to navigate, but we will continue to draw on his inspiration. As time passes, Nicole and I will work on a way to appropriately memorialize Steve at BRGRBELLY.
