Tennis World Tour
The Online Patch for Tennis World Tour is now available on Xbox One and PC, with a suite of changes, including the addition of the Online Mode and Ranked Ladder. You can find the full list below:

I’m glad to see you guys are working on improving the game. A lot of what was listed here I’ve noticed, so that’s good.

Howeverrrrrrr, the fact the AO Tennis has such deep customization options compared to this is really frustrating. Only 8 face appearances? The hairstyles that go with those 8 faces are horrible too, especially with the women character customization. This should really be the next thing addressed.

As a tennis player/coach, this game really recreates the game well, yes, we should feel vulnerable on the stretch for a ball aswell as in charge when gaining control of a rally, I love how you can paint the lines and really work the angles in the game....
Could I say I agree with this chaps comments on customization, more courts?

If you win the tournament there is not any celebration.Pls add animations for this.The distance to the ball and the racket in some case is still to reduce. the VETERAN level is quite unplayable (or I am too scarce, but I do not go beyond 2 or 3 games!)
after the update 1.06 I have to admit that the game in the OF-LINE mode with the professional players (even if there are not all, and this is not nice) has improved, technically the players perform the main strokes very well, appreciable even in some technical minutiae, such as after a hitting the ball the player stays a moment with the look on the impact, or if a player runs to recover from the reverse side he runs with the racket ready! thing that does not teach in all the tennis schools !!
Having said that I realize that even though the game is technically good after 2 or 3 games you get bored.
In this regard, I remember that I could not wait to go back home to play TOP SPIN 4, the carier mode and by far built very well.
You have examples that exist, and people would be very happy to find those contents, I do not really understand what is so difficult in COPYING that mode. It would be a great step forward.
Graphically i like. i using ps4 pro with 55 "screen 4k HDR + lights and shadows on some fields give a really real feeling, wood, concrete ... land and grass to be reviewed. I hope you enjoyed my comment I'm always available for technical advice about improving the game

Bueno, tras jugar al juego de nuevo, mi opinión es que el parche sinceramente ni se nota en lo que respecta al juego. Es un engaño total este juego, tenía la esperanza que lo mejoraran metiendo un motor de juego estilo top spin 4, pero ahora me doy cuenta que si después de 5 meses no lo han metido ya... Es mas entretenido jugar a juegos de tenis de hace años atras que a esto... Lo venderé y comprare AO tenis por probar si es algo mejor. Es muy triste que un juego como top spin 4 para ps3 que tiene años sea el mejor juego de tenis que exista... Pero es una realidad.
A los creadores del juego, basta ya! De vendernos humo de que el juego va a mejorar, porque no se lo cree nadie a estas alturas. Con lo fácil que lo teníais, ya que tenéis según leí ha trabajado en este juego parte del equipo de top spin 4, meter el mismo motor de juego con los jugadores actuales(ya no entro en tema licencias) y os hubierais forrado.

@[1953423764917214:274:Tennis World Tour] While I welcome any improvements being made, it is still sad to see that you're still ignoring one of two biggest issues for me: players not hitting the appropriate types of shots after any of the buttons is being pressed (with the player constantly doing slice shots after I'm pressing X and doing the exact opposite while the SQUARE button is being pressed) and the still recurring issue with my player not going for a lot of reachable balls and giving the point automatically to the opponent (running for the ball and than suddenly stopping and not even trying to reach it). Those two things break the gameplay for me and would improve the game's playability immensely if it ended up being fixed. One bonus issue: John Isner on Legend difficulty is unrealistically fast, goes to the net way to often and barely serves an ace or two per match (it's not nearly reminiscent of the real player). I hope that you're aware of these problems and that you'll manage to solve them in some of the future patches.

En las notas del parche veo que empezais diciendo siempre hemos pos yo os voy a poner lo que hemos visto los jugadores despues de haber probado tu actualizacion que ya HEMOS visto después de 5 MESES.

Thank you for the update...after 6 Months.. no comment to that. The movement still sucks. You fixed some bugs but the movement didn't change. Still no diagonally movement...so you have no chance to get a short top spin ball, that Federer plays all the time in TWT. It just makes no fun, and I expected fun after six months waiting. Online mode is bad...I mean rly bad! Sometimes your oponent changes the direction last second and you see it coming to the right, but then the ball is on the left side. Ridiculous! I still want my money back!

There's a bug that ends the point with the ball still in play, you must really look at that. C'mon guys, we trusted you, payed full price for this game.... No diagonally movement... that's the biggest issue. The shot selection is the another. And the running to the net on sprint, you need to stop running to hit a volley, you don't have the time for that.

Je vais essayer en Français, j'aurais peut-être plus de chance... Car malgré mes demandes successives je n'ai à ce jour pas obtenu de réponse, ce qui m'interpelle vraiment.
J'estime, pour avoir déboursé le prix d'une édition Légende, a minima d'avoir un retour, quel qu'il soit, sur une question simple. Ainsi, je vous expose les faits ci-dessous et je vous saurai gré de m'apporter une réponse :
Le trophée " Tout ce qui brille " (acquérir tous les équipements du jeu de base) est impossible à débloquer. Moi, ainsi que plusieurs joueurs, avons tout acheté aussi bien en boutique homme que dame. Ce problème est visiblement présent sur toutes les pateformes. L'indication, sur PS4, de 0.1% d'obtention pour ce trophée est dû au fait qu'un seul joueur (vérifiable sur PSNProfiles) soit parvenu à débloquer ce dernier. Ce joueur n'est pas identifiable, il est le seul à avoir réussi et il est probable, vu que ce n'est pas un trophée de difficulté, qu'il s'agisse d'un hack.
Ma question principale est la suivante : Ce problème va-t-il être patché ?
Mécaniquement, ce problème, mais surtout le fait que vous ne répondiez pas, amène d'autres questions :
- Avez-vous connaissance de ce problème ? (je pense que oui, mais vu que vous ne répondez pas...)
- La libellé du trophée est-il correct ?
- Nécessite-t-il une action particulière autre que l'achat de l'intégralité des équipements ?
- Existe-t-il un item caché dans le jeu ? Si c'est le cas, un indice serait bienvenu.

Le moindre des choses serait de répondre à un client qui a un interrogation, non ?

And AI are fast like Speedy Gonzalez. I'm LvL 30 and a AI Player lvl 15 is faster🤔 More Angel Control and No Tennisplayer are Playing in that Halffield. AI make no Errors, Onlinegaming is terrible, no Lobby to choose a Player, please look for TS4 Gamelobby, that much better.

As an experienced video game and tennis player, for me the patch is indeed an improvement but there's A LOT more work to be done I'm afraid. I would recommend focusing on the general gameplay improvements before adding new modes etcetera. Especially improvements to the AI. As of now the AI still makes many bizarre decisions on court (running in the opposite direction, not even trying to reach serves, frequently positions itself a mid-court, inside the baseline but not at the net, which is the worst place to be in tennis and so on).

Serves still needs tweaking, you can hit aces with badly placed 180km/h serves but when you hit well placed 212km/h serves the opponent often returns them. Raonic serve stats needs to be a lot higher as well.

The AI also uses the wrong tactic for the players. A guy like Gasquet constantly tries to approach the net and guys like McEnroe stands at the baseline and rarely play serve and volley. As for serve and volley tactics, they are almost impossible to use for both AI and player. When you try to charge forward to the net your player completely ignores the ball and doesn't try to reach it and the AI just stands around mid-court and SLOWLY tries to get forward. Chip and charge is also difficult to use.

The risk/reward system needs a lot of work as well, now shots with low charge quite often puts more pressure on the opponent, than shots with high charge/risk. Which kind of ruins the whole idea.

More errors from the AI, especially forced errors is needed for realism. And more misses in to the net from both player and AI. Low stamina should have greater effect on the number of unforced.

Also the shot selection needs to be fixed ASAP, because your character needs to actually hit the shot that you select on your controller. Often your character hits a slice despite that you selected a flat shot. Which kind of ruins the entire feel of actually playing tennis.

Adress these issues and you will be on your way to a good tennis game. Good luck!

Je peux ne pas être hostile à la sortie d'un jeu non fini. Parce que je peux comprendre les enjeux d'investissements (le JV est une industrie comme une autre...), la nécessité calendaire d'une sortie, etc ... . Tu peux sortir des patchs rapidement par la suite, je n'ai pas de problème avec ça. Là où j'ai plus de difficulté, c'est que mon jeu, je l'ai payé... et par définition je suis un client. Et comme n'importe quel client, j'estime que lorsqu'il y a un problème, le concepteur se doit d'apporter un morceau de réponse. C'est avec ça que j'ai un problème. Après... bon... la terre continuera de tourner, mais sur le principe, je ne trouve pas ça correct.

Das Slice Problem ist immer noch da, wenn ich ein Slice spielen WILL, dann soll auch ein Slice kommen und kein Top-Spin oder andersherum.

Serve Return ist manchmal ein Katastrophe. Man drückt eine Taste und mein Spieler Hoppelt davon, wie ein Kaninchen.

Desweiteren ist es für mich unlogisch, das die KI, die mindestens 10-15 Level unter mir ist, schneller ist als ich oder besser gesagt, alles bekommt.

Das Winkel Spiele ist ein Katastrophe, mal geht's und mal kommen Winkel zustande die Physikalisch garnicht möglich sind. Hauptsache die KI kann es.

Es ist ja fast ein Wunder, das nach 6 Monaten ein Patch kommt, der nicht das verspricht, was drin steht. Zu meiner zeit gab es noch RICHTIGE Beta-Tester, die ein Spiel auf Herz und Nieren geprüft haben und keine Vorgaben bekommen was zu testen ist. Arbeitet an der Performance des Spielablauf, Return und Bewegung die stimmen nicht ganz, die Slice Katastrophe beheben, Online Modus Verbessern, mit Lobby und nicht diesen Müll.

If they continues developing let's talk about the game in 1-2 years. I see good things, but there's heavy work to do.

The commentator keeps on repeating the same few phrases non-stop. The time lag between the moaning of the player when the shot is made is quite bad. Player slices every shot during training for career mode even though a different type of shot is used.

The online mode is terrible. It keeps matching me with the same player. Are we the only 2 people playing the game?! The servers are not good enough so half of the battle is luck as the ping’s shoddy. Can only play with the character in slot 1 too and as I wanted to play with my second character I had to delete my first. Really disappointing since it’s taken so long to get this patch out. You should be ashamed of your work

Its almost impossible to return your opponents shot playing online. I've tried every way you can think of but my player won't even swing at the ball. He moves but won't swing his racket. VERY FRUSTRATING ALMOST BROKE MY CONTROLLER OVER THIS GARBAGE GAME. Fix the damn issue. I have Xbox one s.

A few issues:

1. Player animation and ball Dynamics for for slice shots are still buggy and flawed.

2. John Mc Enroe and Agassi are gone after the last update

3. The transition shots to the net are laggy on Xbox One. You can't hit and then approach smoothly.

4. Still some bugs on frame interaction and the ball.

The online is horrible. Many bugs, many balls which are out in serve and near the lines and we don’t know why the point goes to the other player. Sometimes the player didn’t hit the ball. On serve the ball touch the net and goes out but the other player take the point.... i stop playing your game until you m’aide à patch for the online who cancel this mistakes. It’s just a Shame !!!

I just picked it up on the last sale on PS4. After all the comments I was expecting much worse and the game isn't great but isn't bad either. For feedback:

-Shot selection is usually okay but sometimes the game really does what it wants for a full point. I tried playing slice on a 27 shot rally and of my 13 shots played as a slice only 2 were slices and this can be quite annoying.
-It is difficult to get your player to follow up fast to the net after a good attack shot
-Points don't really have a momentum, some shots labelled "defensive" and should be survival shots end up being insane counters so it doesn't really feel like you build up your point and that at any point and from any situation you or the IA can just come back in the point like nothing had happend. There is also no real "weak defensive return" in which the next shot should be an easy point killer.
-It also feels like it is hard to really screw up during the exchanges. I remember in topspin if you loosed a bit your focus or so the game would not be too forgiving, here it feels like even with a terrible timing your shot wont look too bad and will not penalize you much or even at all.
-I also don't feel much difference between building up the power and the "quick tap" shots (their feel and usefulness were much clearer in Top Spin than here and I imagine you are trying to do something similar).
-On some of the surfaces when you are playing against the sun reflection the ball becomes really hard to see sometimes, maybe making the ball darker or so could help?
-It would be nice to include a coin toss for the serve or side selection at the beggining of the match

Here you go. Personally I will only be sporadicaly playing this game until it hopefully improves to the point where I wont want to put it down anymore. Not that I dislike the game but I want to play it when it will feel more complete than it is now.

Please continue the updates and the hard work, listen to the rare constructive remarks and maybe you will one day be redeemed from your bad start (like no man's sky did).
