聲明：政府無視群眾 委任制假造民意
就教協提出的罷課聲明，教協以及國民教育科家長關注組都對罷課提出強烈關注，並就國民教育科向政府提出不同訴求。當中，不乏要求政府先撤回課程並重新諮詢公眾的建議。
雖然就七二九萬人大遊行，梁振英特首曾開腔表示會接見十八區家長教師會聯會〈下簡稱家教聯〉的代表，以了解各區市民對國民教育科之看法。但學民思潮一眾成員均認為此舉依舊無視反對意見，更顯出政府有意藉此舉騎劫反對派之訴求與聲音。
當中最令人費解的，卻是一眾家教聯的成員卻如何被提名、如何當選。本組織內成員大多來自全港十八區不同學校，惟無一對家教聯的產生方法有所認知，更理所當然地，即便校內的家長教師會亦未見有聆聽學生方面的訴求。由此可見，政府主動接見家教聯，卻迴避一眾反對國民教育科設立的民間組織，不免引起學民思潮質疑，家教聯成員是否經由委任產生。
在此，學民思潮亦再次要求政府正視反對意見，接見一眾中學生，舉辦公開公平的會談商討國民教育科之利弊，以及現今課程指引之不足之處。
學民思潮希望政府可以盡早聆聽各方意見，以解除"委任成員假造民意"的公眾疑慮。

現在應開始轉打組織戰，各學校的家教會應是其中一個主戰場。不能簡單否定家教聯會的代表性，各區的家教聯會是由區內每家學校的家長教師會派代表組成的，而各家學校的家教會是由家長推選出來，不能說是政府委任。現在應做的，是發動家長向所屬的家教會提抗議，要求重新討論對國民教育的立場。若一家學校的家教會不支持罷課，甚至是確定支持國民教育推行，教師和學生要反對也會很困難。

最大問題是,最怕香港教育已淪為政治實施場所,萬一日後再推出例如學校只能用普通話,寫簡體字,官方仍然可以振振有詞解釋...用國家之名來任意合理化,政治課如果這回失守,誰敢保證下一次借教育實施的政策又是什麼??
