To the people complaining about the powers, realize although u can only choose from six you get to do so much with whatever you choose, just from the ironic powers you can get tons of powers your selected power wouldn't advertise.

@TetraRina Denman Austin .. uh its the launch period of an MMO - Lag sadly goes with the territory as the new tech is rolled out, patched, data mined, patched, etc. Only thing us as the player base can do, or rather, our responsibility to do. Is file tickets for every single instance of hanging / lag etc

I was a bit concerned with the 2 server choices that came up on launch day for the EU. Considering Europe have a hefty 80 million population lead on the combined statistics of the entire American continent and Australia (850million vs 770million), I was a little puzzled as to the management decisions that lead to giving the EU a third of the server space available for the US (and then, after the second day, a quarter).

It's good to see that new servers are being rolled out, but if I was Sony, I wouldn't underestimate the european market and would be looking at bringing the European servers number up to in line with the US servers.

Smallville isn't a Map... It's a vault or alert... Not something you can fly to and do missions on.... Maybe later they will just add it but now it's not. Also I'm not new to RPG games but mmo I am. Long as they give you new content I don't see nothing wrong with paying money for it. It cost money to add servers and add game content every month. Ppl expect too much just because they paid 60 bucks for a game. So what... I remember as a child buying a nintendo game from toys r us for 70 bucks and this was nintendo where I had to blow into the the game to make it work.. Lol.. Give the game a chance again it hasn't been a week yet... How long WOW been out before they got it up to par?

I started to play on the Eu servers last wed as bought the game from the us and both servers were high before the game was even officially released in the uk, so they could have been a little quicker althought did nearly take them a week to add new servers to us so they were quicker with EU, guess they didnt expects it to be as popular as only had 4 beta servers.

pheonix CO has been out well over a year and pretty much failed hence you can buy it so cheap and that it is going free to play end of jan, also yeah it has mure customisation but becaude of this at release the game was unbalanced hald if not more of the powerd were bugged, most of this has been solved but if yuou were there at the start like i was, ( I have lifetime for that too) dont comment on a game that has been out a year longer, as DCU is one of the best launches i have seen and trust me i have seen a lot, yes its not perfect but name a game that was at launch. but apart from a few targetting probs i havent really noticed any and i played in the beta till cap (lvl 20)

The forums say the servers will be down 2 hours or so. Arthur if you get stuck you don't need to delete your toon. Put in a petition and a GM can teleport your toon to a different loaction/zone.

There's actually no posting on the forums from developers or moderators as to the current state of play. And that sucks. There's an announcement that worlds were going down on PS3 at 4 am PST. Current crashes do not reflect that. We need server info, up front and up top, on the website.

@Jon Julian It's fairly common practice foe SOE to take the servers down in the morning 2 or 3 days a week for regular maintenance. If you are gonna be playing in the morning most of the time you may wanna go to one of the European servers. Of course they are all filled to bursting right now because they only made 4.

Hey you aholes that keep bitchin'. I am quite sure that's exactly what the Devs created this FB page for. Come on have a little faith. If aren't going to play more than a month, than great! More space for me and others that will actually build this game up. Have you ever heard of WoW or Warhammer? They had the same damn problems at the start. All MMOs do, it is nearly impossible as a server admin to guarantee the servers will handle the load. Learn some patience or just come back in a few weeks when it is solid.

Unfortunately downtimes happen during initial launches of any game. Be happy that they sold more than expected, that means a higher chance of success. I do agree though, more communication from the people at SOE would be nice.

Its saying that the EU servers are up but when i try to get on it says they are still down ? why is it still saying that
