So what will you see here at the Model Village? We offer a nostalgic experience allowing you to step back in time to see Island life in the 1920's and 30's. You can amble amongst the incredibly detailed model houses, pubs and churches to either have the surreal experience of being a giant (if you are a grown up) or for once having houses just about the right size (if you are a toddler!).
We are a beautiful garden too…we have developed an extensive collection of conifers that have been pruned, clipped and trained into beautiful shapes within the Japanese tradition of "niwaki". This tree sculpting enables us to create the right atmosphere and perspective to display our intricate models. We are an RHS Partner Garden and support the great work of the RHS by offering the main RHS card member free admission on selected days.
