Metroid Headquarters pulled up a "leaked document" that reports Metroid for 3DS. We're excited with the possibility, want to stress this isn't an official confirmation. Note that Satoru Iwata will not be at E3 reportedly due to health issues, which puts some doubt as to the list. AND we know there's a 'Mario Maker' which is also not on the list. We're chocking this up as a rumor for now.
So there's no way of knowing if this is true or false until Nintendo's event Tuesday, but a "leaked" document has surfaced indicating that a new Metroid game for the 3DS will be announced at E3 this year. Stay tuned for confirmation either way.
