Melbourne Rebels Facebook Terms

In these Terms, references to “we”, “us” and/or “our” are references to Melbourne Rebels Rugby Union Pty Limited (ABN 70 140 597 066) of AAMI Park, Entrance F, 60 Olympic Boulevard, Melbourne VIC (Melbourne Rebels). The word "you" refers to you individually, and to your company if you are using the Page on behalf of your company.

By using the Melbourne Rebels Facebook page (the "Page"), you agree to be bound by these terms as well as all other applicable policies posted by Melbourne Rebels and Facebook. Melbourne Rebels may in its discretion post user content guidelines, which, if posted, would also be applicable to your use of the Page.

1. PURPOSE

The Melbourne Rebels Facebook Page has been created to provide a space for discussion and opinions to be shared by the Melbourne Rebels and its fans and supporters.

2. RULES
We love hearing from our Melbourne Rebels fans!
2.1 We encourage the expression of opinions and open discussions about the competition but ask that you post respectfully and responsibly.
2.2 Respect each other - swearing and racism will not be tolerated. Be passionate - but don't cross the line.

3. RIGHT TO REMOVE CONTENT, MODIFY, SHUT DOWN, OR DENY ACCESS TO THIS PAGE
3.1 Comments will be deleted from the Melbourne Rebels Facebook Page if they contain:
(i) Offensive, abusive, obscene, profane, hateful or racist content and language;
(ii) Comments that threaten or defame any person or organisation;
(iii) Comments that are contrary to the spirit and integrity of sport;
(iv) Solicitations and advertisements by other organisations or endorsements of other organisations;
(v) Repetitive posts copied and pasted or duplicated by single or multiple users; and
(vi) Anything else the Melbourne Rebels deems inappropriate.

3.2 The Melbourne Rebels reserves the right to modify the content, features and functionality of the page, to shut down this page, and to limit or deny access to all or part of this page at any time, for any reason, without prior notice, and will not be liable in any way to you, your company or any third party for any possible loss, liability or consequence of such actions.

4. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Melbourne Rebels will not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, in any way for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of, or in connection with, your use of the Page or your failure to comply with these Terms or any other applicable policies or procedures.

5. INDEMNIFICATION
You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Melbourne Rebels, and its officers, employees and agents, from any and all losses, injuries, liabilities, damages, fines, penalties, costs and expenses including reasonable legal fees, resulting from claims made by any third party due to or arising out of your acts or omissions, including claims arising out of your use of the Page, your submissions, postings, or transmission on the Page, your violation of any policies or rules governing the Page, or your violation of any rights of another.

8. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions will not be affected, and the unenforceable provision will be replaced with an enforceable provision that comes closest to the intention underlying the unenforceable provision.

9. GOVERNING LAW
These terms shall be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

10. CHANGES
We may add features and functionality to the Page. Because of these changes, changes in the law, or changes in technology, we may need to revise these Terms or other policies from time to time. Accordingly, we reserve the right to update or modify these Terms, at any time and without prior notice, by posting the revisions on this Page. These changes will be effective as of the date posted.
