Saratoga Creek Trail, 1/3/21 by Ronald Horii
I went for a bike ride on the Saratoga Creek Trail on 1/3/21. It runs between English Drive and Mitty Way for 1.3 miles, mostly in San Jose. It is part of the larger San Tomas Aquino/Saratoga Creek Trail system, which begins at the Bay Trail in Santa Clara. The segments are not connected, except by on-street bike routes. Unlike the busy San Tomas Aquino Creek Trail, which runs by many major Silicon Valley Industries, the Great America theme Park, and Levi's Stadium, the much shorter Saratoga Creek Trail is primarily a quiet neighborhood trail. It joins schools and city parks. The Saratoga Creek Trail consists of an off-street class 1 trail and an on-street bike route. These pictures are taken along the class 1 trail, which runs next to Saratoga Creek.
