Coyote Creek Trail to Hellyer, 9/28/20 by Ronald Horii
It was a hot day in San Jose on 9/28/20. I waited until late afternoon when it started to cool off and went for a bike ride on the Coyote Creek Trail. The section of the trail from Hellyer to Silver Creek Valley Road is nice and shady, so it was a relatively cool ride. There was no breeze blowing, but riding a bike creates a breeze. There were people on the trail, and as it got cooler, the trail got busier. I headed for Hellyer County Park to see how the new native plant garden at the visitor center was doing. Then I rode back along Cottonwood Lake.
