Coyote Creek Trail Fire, 9/1/20 by Ronald Horii
On 9/1/20, I went for a bike ride down the Coyote Creek Trail, starting from Metcalf Park. I was masked up with an N95 mask so I wouldn't breathe smoke. It's also good for COVID. These are the burned areas I saw along the trail. They started out between Coyote Ranch and the Bailey bridge. They continued in separate locations all the way until just past the golf course, at the Ogier Ponds. The fire singed the grass and bushes next to the golf course, but not the golf course itself. Unfortunately, some large native sycamores were burned. Here are pictures I took with my phone.

Here's a news report:

The new version of Facebook hates me. I edited this album in New FB and added to pictures to it. I moved them to the right place and wanted to save the album, but the option was grayed out. There was no explanation. I couldn't save the album. The other options, including the big button to delete the album weren't grayed out. In frustration, I switched back to Classic mode and was able to save it with no problems. The new version of Facebook is driving me crazy.
