Nesting Knowledge: Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve, 4/4/15 by Ronald Horii
This was the event: "Learn the secrets of avian architecture with docents Tom and Beth. See birds actively nesting, learn about their reproductive habits and identify a variety of local birds’ nests. Bring binoculars." It was held at the Open Space Authority's new Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve. The preserve is being prepared for its public grand opening on June 26. In the meantime, it is only open for special events like this one. It was led by docents Tom and Beth, with help from Rick, Christine, Jen, Clyde, and me. I was here on a birding hike last November, also led by Tom, Beth, and Rick: http://www.stpfriends.org/CoyoteValleyBirding_11-08-14/BirdHike.html — at Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve. (near Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve)
