Aquila Trail Winter Hike, 2/16/15 by Ronald Horii
On Feb. 16, my son and I went for a walk in Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve. We started with the Aquila Trail. It's a fairly easy trail, a little over a mile long. It opened to the public in August last year. At that time, the hills were brown. This time of year, after the rains, the hills are green. Compare these pictures to the ones I took in August at the opening ceremony for the trail and staging area: http://www.stpfriends.org/SierraVista-14/Aquila.html — at Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve. (near Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve)
