Martial Cottle Park Opening 12/13/14 by Ronald Horii
On 12/13/14, there was a ceremony celebrating a soft opening for Martial Cottle Park in San Jose. Earlier in the week, there had been record heavy rains, but it was clear on the day of the ceremony. The rains flooded parts of the park, including an overflow parking lot near the entrance, but it didn't affect the celebration. This was not the grand opening, as the park was not complete, but the buildings, roads, and pathways were finished enough to give visitors a preview of what the park will be like. I knew that you'd know the names that I didn't. 
Someone whom I should know because she's run or spoken at all the public Martial Cottle meetings and I think is the park project manager but not sure-- Do you know her name?
