Glad that this house to house screening & awareness campaign in Sierra Leone has unearthed more than a hundred hidden cases of EBOV and bodies of EBOLA Victims for safe disposal...Firs t step in the right direction...Hop e countries like Liberia, Guinea, Senegal, Nigeria etc. follow suit...Close to 3,000 fatalities already more aggressive screening & surveillance measures are a must in all the African Nations irrespective of any setbacks on the field...Keep the tight vigil less it explodes into a Pandemic...!

I have a friend from Sierra Leon and he has a total of 5 family members who died from Ebola at this time. I asked him about his view on this and he expressed the Government of Sierra Leon is not helping the people. They are taking all the money and products given and only give the citizens "Soap". He says the people are hiding because they are not getting help in the Hospitals. I see WHO out in the community and what we see on the news is different from what he is saying. what is really going on? Is the people afraid and not willing to take adequate prevention measures, is the government rationing out help to only a few? Is the WHO really trying their best and the locals are not willing to trust the information? Answers please.

I hope those workers have protection from the conspiracy nuts. I worry about the safety of the health care workers.

A great initiative of partners under the leadership of the government of Sierra Leon. Hope it works, at least for Sierra Leoneans.
