Fill Missing Tram Links by Victorian Greens
Love your trams? The Greens will invest in 56km of small tram extensions to better connect people. At $15 million per kilometre, trams are a better investment of public money than the polluting East West Toll Road, which will cost $1 billion ($1,000 million) per kilometre. Good to see the greens getting rail to Doncaster! It's something that liberal and labour parties alike should consider!

How about a tram from Maribyrnong to North Fitzroy, along Maribyrnong and Brunswick road? It would just make a lot of sense.

Would also like to see a tram running between Southern Cross Station & Parkville now that V/Line trains have lost their connection to the 401 bus @ Nth Melbourne. Would not even need extra tracks, maybe just new turns at intersections.

What about getting routes 24,30 and/or 31 to run along La Trobe St regularly in evenings and weekends?
It would connect up lots of services for people and stop the over crowding on the 86/96 for people who are just trying to traverse the city east-west.

Also West Melbourne continues to be treated as an office precinct when it is booming as a residential area and yet we have recently lost our 75 tram to the imagined residential boom in the Docklands.

Regular trams along La Trobe St are the East West link that inner city Melbourne desperately needs!

Good policy. Clearly needed and better use of taxpayer's money

All good. Also add in connecting the 500 metres or so along Victoria St Nth Melbourne between LaTrobe and Elizabeth - makes a good connector between the North and East lines and the West
