America's Cup Quest: Redwood City to Redwood Shores, 7/6/14 by Ronald Horii
it was going to be a hot day down in the South Bay, so I decided to go where I usually go to avoid the heat: not the ocean, but the Bay. Why get stuck in traffic to the coast, when I could just head down to the Bay, where it would be cool, but fog-free. On a weekend, there's no traffic. I went for a bike ride, starting in Redwood City and ending up in Redwood Shores. I followed the Bay Trail for most of the route. It was in the 70's by the Bay, but with the strong breezes, it felt like the 60's. I wore a windbreaker for the latter half of the trip. My destination was to see the winning America's Cup yacht in Redwood Shores.
