This year we are trying to highlight some work of our colleagues, who often work hard behind the scenes, to help keep the World Health Assembly running smoothly.
What other roles during #WHA67 you would like to us to feature here? Let us know! — at UN Geneva (near UN Geneva)
People behind #WHA67 - Rosalia, cleaner
“It’s only the second day of the Assembly for the delegates but the… More cleaning team has been getting ready for at least a month. Just like at home, we do a Spring clean of the Palais des Nations [UN headquarters in Geneva] every year to make sure the building looks at its best for the big meetings. I’ve been working here for 21 years. During the Assembly I start at 5.30 am. Between vacuum cleaning, dusting and taking out considerably larger rubbish loads, I also make sure there are always fresh jugs of water in the Assembly Hall so delegates can easily reach for something to drink.”

P.S. We are trying our best to talk with the ladies from the coffee shops. They are really, really busy around the clock
