Miners' Tools at the Casa Grande, 7/14/07 by Ronald Horii
I'm writing this on 12/15/23. While looking through some old pictures, I found these from 2007. There were taken at the Casa Grande, the Almaden Quicksilver Mining Museum. There was a special exhibit that day about tools that miners used. Collectors who had mining artifacts, brought them in for display. They included hoisting rope, blasting equipment, candleholders, carbide lamps, and models. Here's information about the Almaden Quicksilver Mining Museum: http://www.newalmaden.org/#Museum. Here are more pictures of Almaden Quicksilver County Park: http://www.newalmaden.org/#Pictures. Here's information about Almaden Quicksilver County Park: http://www.newalmaden.org/AQSPark/index.html. Here's more information and maps of the park: https://parks.sccgov.org/santa-clara-county-parks/almaden-quicksilver-county-park.
