Coyote Creek Visitor Center BioBlitz, Anderson Lake, 12/10/23 by Ronald Horii
On 12/10/23, there was a BioBlitz starting at the Coyote Creek Visitor Center in Anderson Lake County Park in Morgan Hill. This was the description of the event: "Join Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful and BioBlitz Club in cataloging and documenting all of the wildlife that reside there. Docents will guide you and teach you to use the iNaturalist app on your smartphone. Flowers, trees, butterflies, dragonflies, beetles, birds, and squirrels. We love them all - now let's go find them!" Participants met at the Coyote Creek Visitor Center in Anderson Lake County Park. Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful (KCCB) had a sign-in tent with information. Participants split up into groups, led by experts, and explored the area, looking for living things and uploading observations into the iNaturalist app. Here are pictures of the event.
