The Three Creeks Trail, Willow Glen, San Jose 9/15/13 by Ronald Horii
The Three Creeks Trail is a trail under development in San Jose's Willow Glen neighborhood. Despite its name, it is a rail trail, not a creek trail. It follows a former Union Pacific rail line, the Willow Glen Spur, but it will eventually join trails along 3 waterways (hence the name): Los Gatos Creek, the Guadalupe River, and Coyote Creek. Right now, it doesn't join any of them, but it's getting close. The closest existing trail to it is the Los Gatos Creek Trail. It almost reaches the trail, but there is one controversial obstacle. See the pictures for more details. I went for a bike ride on the trail on Sept. 15, 2013. Here are pictures from that short bike trip.
